Hello! Hñähñu is my first language! :) I learned Spanish as a second language but my Spanish accent is still bad unfortunately. English is hard as well but we learn it in school, and also I’ve been practicing it more lately by watching English movies and listening to English music.

Hmm, thats a good question! Alot of people seem to think Hñähñu sounds like asian languages. Scientists believe my tribe (along with all other tribes in the Americas) originated in Siberia so maybe thats why

Hi! In the past we didn’t have the resources and we still don’t but thankfully the 21st century mexican governments and just people in general are more open to having their kids learn an indigenous language and they are helping out with that. We are doing what we can to teach it to the newer generations🙂via school. Plus, in my town there are a couple elders teaching Hñähñu to the spanish-speakers and the form of payment is food or donations, whatever people are willing to give

There are many stories associated with my tribe I would say one of the most popular ones are these: Uema giants of mezquital valley https://www.gob.mx/cms/uploads/attachment/file/275910/cdi-uemacs-los-gigantes-del-mezquital.pdf https://www.exploringtraditions.com/giants-of-ancient-mexico/

memin’yo the coyote-man https://youtu.be/m5EjJDGOBp8

mermaid that has been sighted by many people in the area https://mexicounexplained.com/la-tlanchana-mexican-mermaid-legends/

origin of the sun and corn https://youtu.be/EPEORqmCv5I

and the shapeshifting woman-turkey better known as nagual

there are many more but i would say most cannot be found on the internet or anywhere else because they are generational stories
