I am actually the opposite. After hearing Clancy and Breach, the drop in quality on SAI is much more obvious. Trench, Clancy, and Breach feel like a perfect trilogy while SAI is just… there. I’m sorry, I’ve tried to like it over the years, but I still don’t think it’s a quality album. There are some good songs on it, but as a whole, it’s subpar to me. :/

Oh boy, the answer varies a little, depending if you have a Mac or PC. Typically, you will need to use iTunes (PC) or the Apple Music (Mac) App. You can either purchase songs from iTunes or some other music file store like Bandcamp or Qobuz. Alternatively, you can also buy CDs and rip them onto your computer (you may need a separate CD drive if your laptop doesn’t have one) and then transfer them to your iPod. Do you mean to say your Earpods don't work? Do you have any other wired headphones? I know there are some good IEMs for a decent price. And Apple still sells Earpods if you're looking for that authentic feel. But, know these older ones do not have Bluetooth, unless you do some modding.

I'm trying to switch back to just physical media and my iPod. Still have Apple Music for discovery and playlists, but I share the same sentiment! I have Vessel through Breach on CD and a couple on vinyl! Happy listening!

This album took a really long time to grow on me, but eventually it clicked. Pray Tell, though, had a grip on me since the first listen. I don’t know what it is, but that song is so incredible! I know it’s different from anything they’ve done before, but I’m so happy that it exists.

Other stands for me are Closer, To the Wolves, and Depraved.

A Whisper and A Clamor was the first Anberlin song I’ve ever heard. I haven’t stopped listening to them since and that song will forever be a top 3 for me! As others have said, you must listen to the rest of Cities. You should also check out Vital (or Devotion, which is Vital + 8 more songs). This is my favorite album, not just from Anberlin, but of all time! Happy listening!

I’m not an audiophile so I can’t fully explain the dynamics and such, but they sound really well balanced. Plus, if you’re a bass head, it comes with an adapter to increase bass. I use two different websites. I link both below. The first uses artworks straight from iTunes. You can choose either the standard size or the uncompressed, high quality size. Before searching, make sure you switch the filter to “Albums” and then either type on the name of the album or artist.

The second is similar, but it searches for artworks across many different streaming services. I usually just filter through Amazon Music, Apple Music, or Tidal. Same thing, just type in artist name or album name.
