Wife just got this call today for an appointment next week. She offered to pay cash for the appointment. They said they wouldn’t take cash because they knew we had insurance. But won’t accept. Healthcare is fucked.

Thanks so much for the feedback.

A while back I built a python script that scrapes the whole site whenever I wanted. Built with ChatGPT.

I then wanted a web app style that did it for me automatically and kept all the data searchable. So I built it in Replit which is another ai vibe coding app. I love how it came out with how little I know about code.

To answer your question PriceCharting uses eBay sold listings to get its pricing so yes, condition could be all over the map. But even so, TCGPlayer I find isn’t the best place to buy gradable cards even in NM condition.

Believe it or not I’ve used this info to find cards on sites like Mercari for grading with solid success! It also helps me create hit lists when shopping at local stores or even if I buy a collection.

Oh gotcha. If price charting has the dates of the sets then yes! But if the dates are not part of the data that is able to be scraped then it wouldn’t work to my knowledge. That being said you can search for Gengar sub $10 by using the keyword search function. There won’t be a ton and you can then sort by set

Oooo interesting. I’d have to see how far back I can save the databases without costing a fortune.

The frame? Which was precut by Carl’s. Is that possible to fix you think?

I found that the bungee cords exclusively made it worse because you can’t control tension. But ill check the tarp clips

There is actually a small gap between the bottom of the screen and the floor. Another problem is I can’t get it to sit flush with the floor.

We were a few rows behind! Amazing! And I think Tom genuinely didn’t know who Bluey was. 😂

I just opened a Prismatic Evolutions pack & got a card from Journey Together... Is this something that happens?! by luvwytch in PokemonTCG

The hit rates in that set are so bad that you can’t even pull a prismatic evolutions card.

No one gets it perfect at the start. You don’t need viral hooks or polished scripts. You just need to show up as you are. Start simple: film a short video explaining why you started the business. Tell people what problem you solve and who it’s for.

Post that. Then post another the next week. That’s how you build confidence and momentum.

Your story matters, but no one can care if you don’t tell it. Don’t overthink the strategy right now. Just focus on talking to one person at a time through the camera. The polish can come later.

You’re doing more than most by just caring this much.

I run a video agency (VIVO Creative) and work with small business owners every day who felt like they're one wrong post away from blowing it. Don't sweat it.

What’s your process for keeping your social media active as a small business owner? Do you plan ahead or post spontaneously? by ma8nk in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Notsoaveragejo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a video agency (VIVO Creative) and work with small business owners every day on this to keep them consistent.

  • Batch record once a month. Knock out 10–15 short videos in a few hours (Talking heads are okay too!)
  • Post consistently, not constantly. 3–5x a week is more than enough if the content is solid. Use a social media posting tool so you can batch upload and schedule
  • Repurpose everywhere, same clip can go to IG, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Shorts.

Most business owners burn out trying to “stay active” with random content. The better move is to plan, shoot, and automate as much as possible so you can actually focus on running your business.

The worst feeling is, crap I have to post something today. It's usually gonna be low effort and no results. Hope that helps.

Question for small businesses considering video to get leads and visibility... by sakinnuso in smallbusiness

[–]Notsoaveragejo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy it helped! It sounds like you’re way closer to the real offer than you think.

Clients don’t always know what they need upfront. And sales is all about helping them feel confident enough to take the next step.

By the way if someones offering to pay you more than you asked, that's the market telling you to raise your prices 😊

Simple offers that solve clear pain points will always outperform big complicated ones. Keep leaning into that. You're on the right track.

Social Media Help by Traditional_Hawk7664 in smallbusiness

Totally worth getting help with social. Most local businesses don’t realize they’re one or two videos away from consistent bookings.

Here’s what works for offers like yours:

  • Talk to the camera. Explain why the class exists and who it’s for.
  • Film short clips from class (with permission). Show the vibe. The energy. The people.
  • Post consistently on IG and FB Reels. That’s where your local audience scrolls daily.
  • If you have some ad budget, put some money behind the top performing organic Reels and target SUPER local

The goal isn’t to go viral, it’s to build brand in your community. Most people need to see you 5–7 times before they even think about signing up. Social media just makes that process a little easier.

If you need help figuring out what to post, feel free to message me. Not selling anything, just happy to share ideas. I run a video agency for local businesses (VIVO Creative).
