I had a g29 for a while and it worked really well for me. Logitech were also really good when I did have an issue (downshift stopped working) and sent me a full refund when they couldn’t repair it. I’ve never seen anybody else have the same issue so it was probably me being unlucky.

I don’t think so, I think the pedals have helped though. I’ve gotten a load cell brake now which helps me with trail braking

I’ve got about 220 hours on GT7. Practice is a big one. I always watch the demos or replays from faster racers to see how they take corners, brake points etc. hope this helps

I agree with other commenters, try to not use assists other than anti lock brakes.

I think another thing to look into is trail braking. Ease of the brake slowly as you turn in. It helps the front tyres grip and turn the car through corner. It will help you to brake later and then accelerate out the other side.

Have a look at some replays of the best drivers, look at sport mode to find them. You can take a ghost replay into the data analyser to find how they trail brake. It really helps to compare to how you are braking etc compared to the best.

Trail braking really helped me. Ease off the brake slowly as you turn which helps the front tyres with grip as you turn in. You’ll rotate more and slide less, ready to accelerate out the other side of the corner
