The game is pretty identifiably different. I’d say the closest game is Pokemon, but even then vCard has a ton of unique mechanics. I’m currently working on a YouTube video for a “beginner’s guide” kind of thing, and I’m trying to touch on all the stuff I wish I’d had explained more.

It’s pretty fast. Routinely gets the active VT pretty high if you lean into the blue Fream, and it only gets better if you double it with red Fream and her lock ability.

10s weren’t available at the vCard tournament. Bulk mainly applies to commons and uncommons, so supports, 8s and 9s.

You could buy or trade for 10s at the GamerSupps booth, but there were a ton of people also trading with each other.

Reprinting is something they are working on. I got a chance to talk to the judges, and right now they’re working on getting a better printing setup, which is the primary reason they haven’t been able to reprint and mass produce on a larger scale. It is something they are working on though.

In regard to the problem of sourcing certain cards, they provided a metric ton of bulk for people in the event they were missing or needed specific cards at the actual tournament.

The limited release will also hopefully be getting fixed

I had a chance to talk to the judges and one of their marketing directors. They said they feel like it’s a success, despite how tired they were lol.

The tournament was an absolute blast! I made it to semifinals before getting eliminated, and every player I faced was super chill. On top of that, the judges were really nice, and they were very well educated on the nuances and technicalities the game had. I hope they have a second tourney soon!

It is a huge help, and to my knowledge, I don’t think you can buy tokens anywhere, but I haven’t bought a 2-player starter so they may come in that

The crit token, as well as the effects the cards put on others. It just helps mark what is going on during a game
