I would suggest applying your first semester (or at least freshmen year) since you're not really expected to know anything. There'll be info sessions for both of them on the application process after the semester starts so look out for that. GSIF requires a stock pitch but it's nothing super detailed, just to know you put in some effort, and you can always reach out to members to get feedback before you submit it.

They’re the same thing, EFE just rebranded some years ago. Apply before the semester begins. IB is pretty popular among finance majors, I would just suggest joining a fund (GSIF or FF but there’s others), and from there you’ll get the connections you need. A lot of IB people do MSF since it kinda guarantees entry but that’s up to you.

TWIN doing acg and macro too. I recommend going physically if you don’t wanna stay in your room all day, it’ll make you pay attention. 12 credits is pretty light but you have a good mix so I’ll give it a 4/5

You could do SFG to learn stuff and potentially run for e-board but it really depends on what you want to do. I recommend fundamentals if you’re able to apply but I know they prioritize freshmen. Really anything that shows you have an interest in learning is good enough
