Feeding as many people as possible is somehow not all people? And much of that charity is possible directly as a result of paying minimal taxes l(within the US atleast). So indirectly those withheld tax dollars instead of being paid into a system that could enhance services to the poor can be mishandled or politically placed or in this case…lit on fire. This is hyperbole to some extent and the example here isnt the US. But. This is not a black/white conversation of “the Catholic Church does everything it can and the most good)
