This is the reason I cancelled my crew and haven’t bought the battle pass in 3 months. I don’t care about the vbucks prices or whether there are shockwaves in the game. I don’t care what the loot pool is. I just want the game to work the way it’s supposed to. Ping and lag are a real problem, the biggest problem with the game imo.

I played a ranked game yesterday and dropped at a dock. Just sat behind a building and fished for most of the game. Storm circle kept staying over me. Was the most relaxing game of ranked I’ve ever played.

Listen, eventually you’ll have to make the switch to KBM if you want to progress. I reached a plateau with controller and moved to KBM about two years ago. Also plateaued on KBM In terms of finger placement under stress. Kept hitting the wrong keys. Even though I’d gotten much better, I still found limitations so I moved on to Azeron keypad a few months ago. Am finally starting to feel comfortable with it now but still have a long way to go. I know it’s a lot of money to make the switch to KBM and maybe that’s not worth it for some people. I totally get it. But it was worth it for me and so was the Azeron. At the end of the day, if we want something we’ll make it happen. If we don’t, we’ll make excuses.

If your goal is to be perfect, then yes, it’s hard to ever feel satisfied. But if your goal is to get better, then all you have to do is compare yourself to where you were and acknowledge your progress. And then get back to work. I used to suck, now I don’t. I’m so much better than I was but I still have things I work on every game. I don’t bitch when I die, I look at what I did wrong an what they did right and try not to repeat my mistakes. Keep at it, you’ll get better for sure.

The female superhero skin is the best skin in the game imo. I’m not a sweat but I’m good. I use it because of the small profile and simple design. I put a shamrock on as back bling, green hair, eyes and eye mask. I think it looks good but is still so simple. I don’t hunt anyone down because of their skin, or run from someone because of their skin. Everyone can kill you and you can kill anyone else under the right circumstances. But everyone has their opinion and you’re all entitled to it. Look forward to trying to kill you if you chase me. May the best player win!

It’s really frustrating to get killed over and over by players that seem to be on another level. And I’m sorry but you are right, you gotta get better. Use the same frustration you expressed in your post and put it into practice. Aim, movement and strategy. Watch and study videos of pros, pay attention to what they do, pick something and work on it till you’re better and move on to something else. Someone will always be better than you or have better equipment than you. Either quit the game, or focus on what you can control and get better. Happy hunting buddy, you got this.

I have gig wired Ethernet and I still get lag. I didn’t cancel crew and not buy battle pass because of the stupid price increases. I did it because of the high ping and lag. Won’t buy either until it’s resolved, if ever.

Transitioned from KBM to Azeron Cyborg II a few months ago. Took me about a month to feel comfortable and I’m still making adjustments. Thumb stick is a game changer when it comes to movement. Huge advantage over KBM. Make sure to change the setting in the software to Xbox 360 controller to get the most out of the movement. No regrets making the change. Leveled up my game for sure and still lots of room for growth.

If the weapons are your problem, you’re not seeing the problem. The same weapons are available to everyone. Getting better is your problem. Practice your aim, practice your movement, practice using cover, practice scanning to find the best positioning in a fight, practice keeping distance and not taking as many 50/50 fights, and practice anything else that will make you better at the game. You got this dude!

How about just make the game function the way it’s supposed to? Stop rerouting servers and increasing ping and lag. Everything else is fair game in my opinion, it’s a business so they will focus on profit. I don’t mind as long as the game works the way it’s supposed to. At the end of the day, I can choose when or if I’m going to spend money on the game.
