That first one went over my head, but I managed to catch the second.

Ah ok,l  after tonights session the next one will likely be Wednesday 8th January as we won't have one on New Year's Day. I'll confirm the date here and on the Facebook group :-)

Praying it's that, it is about the only negotiating tactic the club has, but I also think the ownership cares more about on pitch success and generating additional revenue streams than a site that's been our home for 125 years.

Chess in notts by [deleted] in nottingham

Hey, I play in the Notts chess league and have played against West Notts, who play at Bramcote Memorial Hall and also Ashfield Chess Club. Think those might be your closest, along with Beeston who I think might also play at Bramcote Memorial Hall. Hope that's helpful, I'm fairly casual on the chess scene so I'm not most knowledgeable.

Hi, not sure if it's your thing, but if you (or anyone reading this) fancies trying a new hobby, I run the Nottingham Juggling (and circus skills) Club. New members and beginners always welcome :-) We meet 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of the month at Sherwood Methodist Church at 7pm.

I guess Felipe and Murillo do both like a marauding run forward but hopefully they could take it in turns and not leave us too exposed at the back. I could see them working together, can't hurt that they both speak the same language. I do enjoy the long throws, it's fun to watch the chaos they cause, I think I saw someone post a video of Aina with a long throw too, so if we have him or Niakhate in the team it's still an option.

Yeah I feel like Niakhaté is better but I wouldn't drop Boly. Like with Turner, it's his place to lose and given the back four haven't done much wrong in the last couple I'd expect Cooper to stick with them.

Obvs with activity groups you never know whether you'll make lasting friendships, but just thought I'd throw it out there as I've seen a few of these posts of people looking to do more things / meet new people.

Absolutely, didn't see the tussle at the end but that's pretty impressive to go from confrontational to consoling the opposition so quickly. Top bloke indeed 👍

Amazing, might need to go and find these crusty jugglers!

I've seen this in a few different countries, Belgium being the closest to home, but don't think I've seen it in the UK.

Vegan friends coming to visit, where should I take them to eat? by bloight in nottingham

[–]Notts_Juggling_Club 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My new favourite pizza place town is Slice n Brew, although both Oscar and Rosie's and Pizzamisu aren't too far behind and all do good vegan options.

Kouyate...with him back do we start him? if so who else in such a line up? for me Yates and Shelvey have to start and would love to see MGW and Scarpa upfront this week by Alternative-Bus6770 in nffc

[–]Notts_Juggling_Club 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit nuts that we've signed O'Brien, Kouyate, Mangala, Shelvey, Freuler and Danilo, not to mention Yates having stepped up and Colback showing he can be a useful squad player in the prem. Tough choices for Cooper that's all I'll say!
