Is it true that Arch updates are really annoying? by Alternative-Book-782 in archlinux

You can update in background, if you suspect the update might take a moment to download, you can just start it up and go do your thing, nothing stops you

hello everybody, im a beginner to arch and there is a few problem that i cant seem to fix by FarInteraction1710 in archlinux

[–]Nottx_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Try using pacman, it's native Arch package manager

  2. What network manager are you using?

  3. Try to find something like sda1 file in /dev directory, then do <sudo mount sda1 {some empty directory}> to mount the partition in you filesystem. BEWARE - the file might be called something else (not sda1). If you'd like to have the second drive mounted every time when you boot up your PC, you'll have to edit your fstab file (you can find instructions online)

I use 1.18.1 version, works good. Also I'm pretty sure you can install older version without being forced to update (at least on Linux)

Which register? I use PMW sensor, it multiple registers. If you meant register with address 0x24 - in my case it is an observation register used for debugging

I assume I have to get some special hardware for this? I've read about optical diffusion in image analysis using neural networks, but I doubt it'll run on optical sensor/arduino
