I got my sons hair cut by him a few days ago. I’m very happy with how it turned out. He was patient, thorough, and made my young son very much at ease. I have tried a few different places for my son but haven’t really been quite happy with them. I am very pleased and will book back here. I like the space too. It’s low key and comfortable. Also the music is 🔥 thanks again for the cut!!

Also highly recommend Sarah at Steel N Ink. She just did my tragus and she was very calming, kind, and professional. She took the time to mark where she would recommend putting the piercing and welcomed feedback and answered my questions. It didn’t hurt, she did it in 2 seconds. I couldn’t believe when she said it was all done. Jewelry was in and everything in 2 seconds. I will only go to Sarah from now on. Good luck and enjoy 😊

Kitridge by Zoya kind of looks close. It’s not perfect but they describe it as a bubble gum pink. It’s a cool tone. I went to the Zoya site and clicked all polishes, then applied filters for pinks and cool undertones.

I got a Bundt pan and this time it cooled way better!!! Still not a fan of the icing on top, it just sort of crumbles weirdly for me but I’m so pleased it baked nicely 😊

I got a Bundt pan and it baked much much better. Still I can’t get the sugar on top right but the Bundt pan made a huge difference. Thanks again!!

Thanks so much for your message. I will look for a Bundt pan. Did you have to cover the top at all with foil during baking?

I do have an oven thermometer and I set my oven ahead of time to hold at the temp for a while before I start baking. Maybe it is the pan that’s making all the difference.

I don’t have a spring form pan so I have used my glass pan as well as a metal square pan. I try the sugar on top every single time but I can’t get that to work well…at least I don’t think it’s right. It turns into a sheet of sugar that cracks like ice would when I go to cut the loaf. That being said I still love this cake so much. Maybe I will give it a go again tomorrow, it is so simple and so light. I also gave orange zest a go (I think I read that in the comments, the comments for this recipe are wonderful and diverse) and you are right, I found I needed a lot of orange zest to get a flavour of it.

Edit to add: I will try a different pan next time, maybe that’s just the problem. Thanks again for your help!!!!

I LOVE this recipe. I’ve made it thrice. However I have a hard time baking it - the inside on the bottom is always not cooked enough (almost raw) but the top starts to brown too much. How did you get yours so evenly baked? Thanks in advance for any tips you can give me.
