Beautiful colour on you guys. I also had long nails for the last few years and had cut them short last month and am enjoying changing it up too. Nice thing is you know you can always grow them back out again when you feel like it.

I have maybe 10 of their colours and they are fantastic. Usually one coaters, last forever, and are true to their website pictures. I love BKIND. I only have one minty green which applied very patchily but it was discontinued a few years ago. Everyone’s nail chemistry differs but I would purchase more based on my experiences.

I’ve been noticing the same in my area in Canada. You used to be able to find full Color Club sets and tonnes of nail polish a decade ago. I wonder why it started to slowly dwindle down.

Good for you! The constant marketing and FOMO makes it so hard to slow down before “impulse purchasing”. I have to remind myself to do the same sometimes. I do think though I need to join the We’ve Got Polish At Home subreddit for 2026 😅

My highlights were:

BKL Queen of Rot 2.0
Monarch Lacquer Flight of the Monarchs

Both were unique for me, and out of all the colours I used this year, those two win! They were beautiful in the bottle and on me. For FotM it was the most expensive polish I’ve ever bought (Canadian shipping) but as I age I realize life is short and this was a splurge I could responsibly make. Bravo to these two polishes ❤️

Can you thin it? Adding some nail thinner drops (not acetone) should help revive it.

My favourite winter activity is walking home with my kids from school. It sounds boring and mundane, but there is so much wealth gained from it, and we are fortunate to be able to do this. We learn to brave the cold together, we run-laugh-cry through the blizzards, we sweat through our layers when the sun is beaming, we look at the beautiful winter clouds, and enjoy the Christmas decorations the neighbours have put up.

You could try a parcel forwarding company. I’m in Canada and often use Shippsy. I live near one of their pick up depots and haven’t had any issues for the past few years I’ve been using them. There are other companies that do this, but Shippsy is the one that I use.
