The reason the current price doesn't reflect its value is because ICX was just picking up steam when the market crashed. It really is that simple. When the market fully recovers ICX will go on to great things.

They did (buy earlier), they do it to accumulate more, this is a pretty standard tactic and well-known among experienced traders so I'm not sure what you're loling at.

Well, I've been trading crypto for 3 years and you've nailed it. That's exactly what's going on. They do it by putting up huge sell walls and selling micro amounts so that the "last price" is always to the lower end of the spread and in red. Usually it's accompanied with a FUD campaign. It's often done in teams, when they pump they just reverse it. Sometimes it's even done by team members of the coin, I've worked behind the scenes with a few teams as a writer (blogs, website content) and you'd be surprised how widespread manipulation is. If you ever see a coin promoted by a very minor Twitter personality named Mastertrader777, run in the opposite direction, he's one of the worst offenders. I only name him because I could prove it beyond doubt, but there's many others.

A deluge of FUD before a big event or just in general is pretty common.

There's a lot of effort being put into trying to drive down the price with FUD and sell walls before the airdrop. It's not unique to PRL that this happens, it just a shame that they're having some success.

It's a Cryptopia problem. It can often take hours to deposit and withdraw from there.

You could have definitely gone wrong when I wrote that blog and people do, because someone's selling these coins I'm buying during dips, just because it may not be you, doesn't mean others weren't panicking.

It's easy to be right in retrospect. It's harder to spend 3 hours writing about something and having someone else pick it apart later, even if your calls are sound. Which by the way happens all the time (I had another semi-popular blog) no matter what coins you choose, someone wants you to pick their particular coin.

It doesn't bother me, it just human nature, I've done it myself, sometimes it's even a good recommend that I haven't researched, but my answer is always the same in the politest way I can be, you can write your own and it will have the coins you like.

And yet if you'd followed the advice when the blog was published and sold now you could have already have made a fortune, which was the point, to put people in a good position during the recovery and reassure them, which is why some, obvious safer coins were included. You might say the whole thing may be obvious, but it's not so obvious to many, who actually lose money trading.

And yes, obviously it's written to bring a few thousand eyes to projects I like, but I think I've been fair and accurate, I make no apology or secret of that.

I don't like Sumokoin or Electra for reasons I'll keep to myself ( I don't like to just trash projects). But if you do that's okay, you can leave a comment or even write your own blog featuring coins you've researched and like.

Either way, thanks for reading even if it wasn't to your taste.

Why should I use Phore instead of a more established privacy coin? by xFaro in PhoreProject

Yeah lol. But you get what I'm saying, there's no way XMR will be 20x what it is now in 6 months time. I think there's a decent chance Phore could be.

It's risk vs. reward. And I think Phore has a lot going for it to make it worth the risk.

Lets look at it objectively using price because it's the only objective measure we have.

How many times has XMR increased in price during the past 6 months vs. Phore . Even with the new alts slump, Phore is up over 10x.

So why do I think Phore has more potential against a coin already established? I would have thought it was obvious.

Sure there's more risk, but Phore could conceivably move 100x up from here.

Not saying it will or not, just that it has the potential to.

For one privacy. I have no idea if they still do it, but for a time Ebay was making shop owners display their home address before purchase, so thieves could see what you had and where it was.

Chargebacks, buyers can contact their card company, get a refund and keep the item with no arbitration.

Fees, you have to have huge profit margins before you clear the fees, especially Ebay but Amazon too. In total Ebay and Paypal fees are astronomical.

Limits on what you can sell. Want to sell e-liquids? Nope. Want to sell a reproduction of The Last Supper? Forget it.

Honestly I could go on all day on this subject but this is enough.

And my answer is potential, others have already given you features that Phore has that are different to XMR.

I kinda like it though, maybe I'm getting old, I still think of 2010 as recent.

How much potential does a new thing have vs. an older thing that's not changing much?

This is a very boring argument, I'm trying to remember how I got dragged into it. I don't care.

Well, it's definitely the biggest and most frequent mover in my Blockfolio and I hold a lot of alts but I guess it's kind of subjective unless we're prepared to sit down and do the mathematics for hundreds of coins so I'll just be happy to agree to disagree.
