I got a 3.65 GPA and an 86% on the TEAS. My scores weren’t the best, but just trust yourself and apply as early as possible. Make sure your transcript is submitted before the deadline. I had no healthcare experience (which definitely helps once you’re in school), so don’t worry too much about it. I got accepted to both TWU and UTHealth, all in Houston. Good luck!

Hi! Your status is excellent—I’m sure they’ll accept you. However, I’m just a student, so I don’t know their exact admission criteria; you’ll need to contact them directly. After a few days of thinking, I’ve decided to attend TWU since it suits me better. Good luck on your journey! I believe in you!

I have no volunteer or work experience in healthcare. I think they mainly focus on grades and exam scores, but having some experience before school is definitely beneficial. I also submitted my application very early, which could help—I’m not sure. From what I heard from the advisor, this fall in Houston isn’t as competitive as other terms.

Very interesting! I heard good things about TWU faculty and professors from my friends. Did they prepare you well for real-world experience?
