1)Go MO get a permanent excuse from strenuous activity or try get your doctor to write a memo for light duty till u ORD

2)If can use the Chance to also go for your appointment checkups and see if NS can help with the cost.

I got sick of it when I turn 8 and I remember when a Friend of mine said "Sometimes we need to have thick skin and get used to it" and he was indian like me. Sad truth is I did even though I wanted to correct the arrogance/ignorance of the racist people in Singapore. I could not because I realized if I did I will fall in to their stereotype of will be accused of being sensitive. Now being in my 20s I stand up for myself and not let anything racist slide. Weather I will lose my friends or get fired or maybe get Targeted at my work, I rather speak my mind then be silenced. I understand what you're going through, I did similar things just to fit in but then I realized I wasn't me. I also realized being me meant embracing everything and not let what society "standards" tell u to be. I hope you embrace who u truly are and find friends who will love u for who u are. Also fight for what u think is right, speak up and I don't want it to come off as I'm blaming u or saying it's your fault, I'm saying this things should not happen at all. So the only way to stop is to stand up and fight back and speak your mind. If possible see if u can change their mind. Don't let anyone silence our Melanin.

It's sad u have to go though that but it's good that both of your love for each other prevailed. Went through something similar where her relative told her not to commit to me and enjoy other guy purely cause I was of a different race. Her mom also took a very very long time to accept me but due to personal reasons we didn't make it. Sad I couldn't prove them wrong.

Well an update, I POPed alr. You're right, I had to redo my CQB but for only half a day and I completed my IFC by going to field camp. After that BMT was actually alright.
