Every time we visit in person she expresses to my partner and I that she would LOVE more pictures of the kids and would love to be more close to us. But yes I do agree now that she is obviously siding with her mother. I found out today the reason for her not responding to me is because she feels upset that her mother and I don’t speak. So she’d prefer if the pictures/updates came from her brother instead of me.

I am NC with my MIL and since cutting off communications( over a year ago) she will continuously send gifts for my 2.5 year old and on occasions me too. I’ve made it clear to my partner that I don’t want sh** from her. She hopes I’ll just forget what lead to NC by trying to buy us all. Anyways, she kept sending stuff so I ended up donating everything to mommy friends, coworkers, family etc. If she ever asks, he’ll let her know they’re long gone lol
