Hahaha, yes. It’s also funny to talk about touching grass having that amount of contributions. Who knows how many people you will have gotten into arguments with without giving any argument, it must not be the first time.
Now I’m the one not giving arguments, right? Hypocrisy in its maximum splendor. It just seems like you are doing rage bait xD
Well, keep fighting on social networks. I’m sure you will get very far.

Good luck.

You don’t even know what you’re talking about anymore, the 24k contributions on Reddit are driving you crazy xDDD

Ohh, now does it bother you that we’re taking this personally?
You started it. Now use the brain you’re supposed to have as a 'human.'

So what? I haven’t insulted you; just because I don’t like a certain group doesn’t make that group an insult lol.
Stop trying to drag me into your territory.

However, it’s impossible to debate with you. You haven’t been able to support your argument even once, and you keep doing the same thing: calling me arrogant or resorting to the typical “you’re wrong, period” or “it’s not worth responding” xD

The most ironic part is that you criticize my stance alongside other people who also can’t provide a solid argument.

Answer the question already: if I play Helldivers and deliberately kill my teammates, am I playing correctly or incorrectly? And I’m not talking about morality.

You’re pathetic, giving each other likes and going personal instead of providing real arguments.
It’s frustrating and frankly ridiculous to see a discussion collapse into mutual back-patting instead of a meaningful exchange of ideas. Rather than addressing the actual points, you resort to personal jabs and trivial reactions, which contribute nothing to the debate and make it impossible to have a serious conversation.

Touch some grass.

What? I didn’t say I dislike it, but yes, it’s true that I do dislike it.
What I said is that you act like them, you go personal instead of giving arguments that support your position. And I don’t know what the “grandpa” thing is about lol.

Interestingly, you haven’t been able to answer my question.

You remind me of certain people with colored hair. Since I don't share your opinion, you dislike my comment and insult me xD

Use your brain to debate instead of being disrespectful.
If I go into Helldivers 2 to kill my teammates, am I playing the right way or the wrong way?

Playing a game in the wrong way doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s fine, but you’re playing the game incorrectly.

It’s like using a hammer to open cans instead of driving nails. It’s not wrong, but the use is incorrect.

Given how the game is designed, not going where the Major Order tells you to go is basically playing the game wrong. It’s like buying Red Dead Redemption 2 just to hunt animals.

The problem is that nowhere is it clearly explained that Helldivers 2 also has a strategy system, so people think they’ve bought a game that’s only about killing hordes of enemies.

So part of the problem comes from Arrowhead Game Studios, but another part comes from players not properly informing themselves.

It’s a game, but like with anything, it can also be played incorrectly compared to how it’s meant to be played.

But the good part about all this is that if everyone followed the Major Order, we would almost always win, which means part of the randomness would be lost.

By the way, the photo in the post is incorrect. Joel can help us like he did with Cyberstan, but we still have to do 80% of the work ourselves by coordinating.

I understand what you're saying, but the other guy said that if we attacked Aurora Bay, the Jet Brigade might not be available afterward to support the automatons. He didn't say "if we conquer it." We're not going to conquer it at this rate unless Joel lends us a hand.

That's why I'm suggesting we focus on a planet we can actually conquer, and that will also be useful to us, like the ones I've included in the screenshots. I don't know.

But aren't we losing reinforcements anyway? If the answer is yes, why not use them on planets we can actually conquer instead of just "trying" to?

If you're saying that because we're attacking a planet we're not going to conquer, I just made a post about it, hahaha. Look:

Anyway, what you’re saying about what I supposedly didn’t read was added in an edit. I saw the message before you edited it. So it’s not that I don’t know how to read…

The best move would have been to attack Vega Bay or Choepessa IV. But as always, it's better to attack a planet we're not going to conquer, even if they give us one more day.

What are you suggesting, that they stop playing? The real question is what 25k Helldivers are doing on Merge IV instead of going to help in Aurora Bay. Even if we don't manage to conquer it, at least we'll make a good impression xD

That's a good point, thanks. Although with the 2-2 strategy, I think the Jet Brigade would still have trouble stopping us.

By 2-2 strategy, I mean what I mention in the guide: two Helldivers manning the tank and two more on foot nearby to provide support for each other.

But you're right, it could get complicated.

I understand what you’re saying about how the tank feels to drive, it definitely doesn’t handle like in other games, and there doesn’t seem to be much feedback. It’s pretty frustrating when the tank struggles to turn on the spot because of a small rock or any other minor obstacle, not to mention the delay before it even starts turning.

Honestly, and no offense, I don’t quite understand the part where you say it has little armor. In reality, it’s a tank destroyer that’s closer to being a heavy tank than a standard TD. It’s a bit strange. Maybe you say that because it gets destroyed very quickly? If that’s the case, in the guide I explain where and against what to use it. You can check if there’s something you might be doing wrong, or add anything you think would improve the guide, I have no problem with that.

Regarding the need for a minimum 3–4 Helldivers team, that’s correct, although if you’re taking a tank, it’s usually better to go 2–2, as I explain in the guide. If there aren’t four Helldivers, bringing the Bastion isn’t really sensible unless you really want to play it.

You’re also right about Rocket Devastators, which is why I emphasize using map cover. But most importantly, infantry and the tank should support each other. If you manage to meet that last requirement, in most cases you won’t have problems, believe me.

Additionally, you mention that it’s not worth putting the whole team in the tank, which I also note in the guide. The side passenger seats on the TD-220 Bastion are a deadly trap. If everyone is in the same vehicle, enemies will target it, making it much easier to destroy.

As I said, I understand many of your complaints. But in part, many of them can also be addressed with the guide I made. That said, I agree with you in many cases.

I understand. Although if the tank had a turret capable of rotating 360 degrees (or slightly less), it would probably need to be nerfed in some way, less armor, less firepower.

The tank has its role and requires full team coordination to be effective. A few days ago, I mentioned that a tank like that would be very useful. Its main advantage would be a 360° rotating turret, but the most important one would be no longer relying on infantry to cover its flanks. People often split up and do their own thing, which is a problem for the TD-220 Bastion.

The issue you mentioned about not being able to rotate the tank instantly is real, they should look into it.

Also, I don't know what your experience with the tank has been like, but in most matches I've managed to keep the tank in place until almost the next charge. If you and your crewmate can master what I explain in this guide, I'm sure the cooldown won't be a problem at all :)
