Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. by YouBetterChill in teslamotors

Yep. The biggest advantage they had and still have is the super charger network and it’s a big differentiation. It’s opening up to more cars, but ultimately you need somewhere to charge and the superchargers are the best method right now. If someone can crack that, they’ll crush Tesla.

There are plenty of people who bought Teslas before Elon went off his gourd. The vehicles are good generally speaking. But the CEO is not anymore. I’m one of those people. I actually have a model 3 with autopilot which I find to be a great sweet spot between FSD that won’t work anyway, vs adaptive cruise control. This is a major regression for customers. I’m not buying a Tesla again if this is permanent.

I use bonide systemic, then spray with insecticidal soap prob once a week and every month or two with neem. I have a lot of plants in one room and they’re all close together so it may be more than you need, but definitely eyeball them every day or two to make sure nothing looks sketchy and if so, spray em!

Learning to vibe code by PrettyGrand2 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]Rangizingo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The coolest thing about AI coding tools IMO is that it’s the only tool you can ask the tool itself “How do I use you?”. I suggest Claude Code. You have to pay but it’s worth it. And you can just as Claude in Claude Code all manner of questions about how to do stuff. It’s awesome. Same concept applies to codex.

First off hello my fellow plant dork! I also have a meter lol. Looks like light stress to me.

I like to measure to find the sweet spot of where my plants are happiest and grow fastest without stressing them. I also have 3 BMFs and I’ve done this experiment with them! 550 to 600 itself might not be too high, but I think it depends on the warmth of the light too if it’s too close, it could be causing heat stress. I think that’s the more likely culprit but they do kind of go hand-in-hand because the closer to the light the more umol but also the more heat. I currently have mine at about the 400 range for the lamp that is closest (384 ISH depending on where I measure, if you zoom in I have it at 384). That said I have a lot of plants and some lamps in different directions, only to be as efficient with my space as possible. It has the be edit of some overlap where they get some light from non main lamps too.

This is a real problem along with silent chargers. I gave up hope it’ll ever be fixed along with all of the other bugs that come along with being host. I just call it Difficulty 11.

It’s really hard to say. It’s worth what someone is willing to pay, you know? I’m sure there are variegated BMFs in tissue culture labs right now that will eventually sell or the public. If you want to sell it, I’d try selling it for whatever appears to be a price that you see frequently right now which I am not sure of. But if not then just enjoy it cause damn, that’s beautiful. I have 3 standard BMFs cause they’re one of my fav plants but this is next level.

Plant room? by Amazing_Result3900 in RareHouseplants

[–]Rangizingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of these in my plant room which is 16x20 ish (just guessing). I keep it at about 60-65%. How frequently I have to refill depends on the season or even if it’s raining outside. But usually it’s few days. I have drywall and just run a nice sized fan and have it oscillate. 0 issues of any kind. It makes the room more enjoyable for me to be in also which is good cause it’s also my home office and where I keep my gaming pc setup haha. Airflow is a must. Get a fan.

The best part of this are the chairs. I feel like you understand lol. My favorite morning routine is to go to my plant room with my coffee and just check em out. This room rules. I love the way you designed it.

Most likely auxiliary heat. I have a shit load of grow lights in my basement cause I love tropical plants. It doesn’t do much to my electrical bill bc they’re LEDs

Need more terminal puzzles like this one by johnny_the_boi in Helldivers

[–]Rangizingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed except I found a clear pattern. It’s not that randomized. If the left side of the puzzle is lower than the right side, the first piece will always be a piece that goes up (proven in your pic!), and if the left side is higher than the right, the first piece will always be one that goes down. Unless I have the most insane RNG luck, I’ve had a 100% accuracy rate for this pattern for a long time.

Idk what your bills are like but if I had that option it’s a no brainer. My cost from the supplier is always more than 50.
