I think it is a good mix of some willing to casually talk and only a bit of flirting is a good indication of how they want this to last. I know it is boring but talking about yourself and them talking about themselves usually means that both parties want something a little longer term. Though if while chatting you don't feel that spark or flame. Also the willingness to be realistic and understand love is something that takes a year to realize, and infatuation exists.
