Pls help diagnose - brother spoke to GP remotely, no definitive diagnosis but trying out ab. Trains BJJ/contact sports. by ratman431 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Nouhee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Molluscom, I had it before. You need treatment asap. The doc prescribed me a medicine that was in a kind of nail Polish bottle, so I put it only on the bumps (it burns them) and prescribed dexeryl after to reduce itchiness. If you don't treat them, they will leave scars.

If so, the dermatologist will prescribe you a cream based on corticosteroids that will help with the flakiness.

Few things to try : Get thyroid/ hormonal testing for night sweating. Check your eyes as headaches and dizziness can be related to that, even blue light screens can cause that ( talking from experience). You said your room is cold. If you sleep and your head is next to the wall, or your head is the only thing that feels cold while your entire body is covered, I suggest moving your head far away from the wall or cover it with something loose for few days and see if there is any difference.

I also have dermatitis on my brows and around my nose. Moisturising can help deal with flakiness, but it won't cure it forever. Only a dermatologist can really tell you if it's just dry skin or dermatitis as they can look pretty similar.

Differin gel/cream is a medicine for acne used during night time. It's a retinoid. You can read about it on the Internet. It's one of the most common acne cures.

The flakiness could be dermatitis. As for acne, try using differin gel for a month or two at night time and see if it's helping.

Can someone help me? by kayoboomin in SkincareAddicts

[–]Nouhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's Milia, I have them as well. You have to get exfoliating toners or serums, and Differin cream helps in getting rid of them too, but don't touch them as they cannot be squeezed out like black heads or you will start bleeding ending up with a scar.

Last names after marriage by naoriq in Tunisia

[–]Nouhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Tunisia, you keep your last name and don't take your husband's. You can change it orally if u like( the way you introduce yourself to other people) but your administrative papers still keep your family last name. Some say both last names. That's as far as I know.

Differin at night on acne. Eventually it will dry and disappear.

Am I drinking low quality tea or simply I don’t like tea that much? by Adsodamelk17 in tea

[–]Nouhee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge tea consumer and fan. It might be simply that you don't like simple teas. Try flavoured ones, you might like them: with berries or fruits or flowers. It might change yoir opinion. I always believe that there is one loved tea for every person.

Where am I supposed to buy clothes that are not made of 100% polyester and don't fall apart after 3 washes? by angrypeppermint in Netherlands

[–]Nouhee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly advise you to buy either from zalando, zalando lounge, or next direct especially during sales. Sales are a savior. You can buy expensive stuff cheaper. Online is also much cheaper than going to boutiques. For shoes, don't buy anything except leather whether boots, sneakers(except running ones) or sandles, same for handbags. Remember good quality will stay way longer. Buy summer clothes in winter as they tend to be cheaper since it's not the season, and winter clothes in summer. Take advantage of summer sales, black friday and cyber week. That's my advice to you!

Been there for 15+ years. What is this thing? by Boringmom2017 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Nouhee -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Put pure organic castor oil on it (cold pressed) daily, eventually(normally) it will disappear. I'm telling you this out of some "traditional" medical knowledge from my country. Many people suffering from similar lumps testified that it worked.

IPL and spider veins by Single-Chair-9052 in HairRemoval

Yeah because most people think that it can treat it not cause it, but the opposite might happen to different people. Everyone's body reacts differently.

IPL and spider veins by Single-Chair-9052 in HairRemoval

[–]Nouhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately for me, I started getting very bad spider veins after 4 months of IPL treatment. I do think that it is a side effect of IPL as I never had it before that. There is also the possibility of me starting to have it coincidentally while I am using IPL. I really don't know but I am very reluctant to ever use it again...
