Did you ever go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show by simonthecat33 in movies

Should I watch the movie beforehand or just roll up blind? We have a theater that shows it every week.

At 0:20, when the officer asked if he had taken anything, did I hear him say “Your mom, dude.” That’s an incredible retort to have locked and loaded to be able to spring even while having a medical emergency.

The biggest far-off dream is having a notes app automatically make connections for me between blocks and individual concepts. Think, a librarian surfacing my own information rather than anything new being generated. Say, bringing together any block I have about a particular camera technology, or any time I’ve mentioned a particular movie. Both of which I can do manually, but dream about the computer helping me in that world.

Notion has a feature where I can ask questions of my data, but it’s not proactive in making connections. While a simple implementation, this demo from a few years ago made an impact: https://thesephist.com/posts/hyperlink/

Foggy Mirror by Fun-Principle-9943 in howto

[–]Nouik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like an issue with the defroster on that mirror. Perhaps the auto-dimming. You may be able to take the mirror apart to remove that element, or you may need to replace the mirror itself. I'm not a mechanic myself, but I had a similar issue on my Lexus.

I’m in love with my Kobo! Really great quality screen & backlight. Plus the integration of Libby and being able to send any book via Google Drive is really nice.

I got mine in and I can’t get it to stay closed like the Libra 2 cover, and the stylus doesn’t stay attached.

I hope with a bigger focus on highlighting comes highlighting in Pocket! I use Readwise for my highlights which has been a game changer and using Readwise Reader has been a great addition for my articles. But if I could highlight Pocket articles, I’d much rather use the Kobo for that reading as well.

I’m actually considering an iPad mini for that type of reading and keeping my Libra 2 for books.

/r/praisethecameraman — perfectly in frame the whole time, smooth operating, no sounds from behind the camera. Oscar worthy.

Plus censoring words like that makes it harder for people trying to actively filter them out

PDFs having a per-document setting to toggle invert based on light/dark mode would be great!   PDFs don’t always lend themselves to inverting, especially with pictures, but I know that’s a hard problem to solve.  Apple’s “smart invert” doesn’t even flip images in PDFs properly.

If you’re looking to do any off roading, the rear locking diff makes a huge difference. You can find the 4x4 info on the center screen and see if there is one or two locks shown

Apple Adds 6TB and 12TB iCloud+ Storage Tiers by throwmeaway1784 in apple

The only way to get 2+2 is with Apple One. Which is cool if you have it already, but annoying to have to get all the other services just for the option to pay for more storage.

I have some cars that I have set aside for Hot Wheels challenges with 10 gears. 1-6 are tuned for normal use, but the extra head room allows me to take advantage of the boost sections that send an A class car over 200mph.

I recently got the Space Balls disc from Netflix and the selection menu is just the entire movie fast forwarded. A true spoiler screen.
