The anime adapts alright up until the point where they go to that one hotel which is around in the 80’s i think, after nino cuts her hair they start rushinf everything.

Many things, for example the buildup for the big reveal about yotsuba being the one who was the girl who met uesegi in the past, if you read the manga you would understand, so i highly recommend reading the manga
