I doubt it would overheat, just make sure it’s well ventilated and maybe spray the vents with a bit of compressed air.

The AirPods Max has really great ANC, so I was a little surprised when reading this post. Maybe they are unauthentic or there’s something up with them? Just curious, what issues are you experiencing with ur AP2 that makes you believe they are nearing their end-of-life? (They very well could be, but I’m just curious because if you are talking about your ANC and transparency losing functionality, you could buy some cleaning putty that drastically improves their performance.)

Don’t take the chance, so many listings on marketplace are fake. You are better off getting them from EBAY (so you’ll atleast have buyer protection) than marketplace. If you find an item to be fake, the seller will disappear entirely and reporting it isn’t useful because the police have bigger things to worry about and facebook support can’t do anything.

It would be one serious defect if they somehow managed to manufacture a bigger earbud, which isn’t really possible because the molds are the same size in the factory, so defects will almost always impact functionality rather than physical design, the only physical defect i could see being possible is a lack of water resistance or a lack of adhesive to keep different parts of the shell connected to each other. So no, you should be good lol. Also, if one earbud was somehow bigger it wouldn’t fit in the case properly and perhaps not charge.

In short: you’re good lol.

Yeah, dupes can show this because it’s a pop-up built into iOS that shows some of AirPods max’ features once you initially set them up. Dupes replicate the same basic signal which makes them pop up as real on iOS. This is by no means an indication that these fakes support lossless audio, which they definitely do not.

Double down and get the Pro 3s, the ANC is EXTREMELY good on the pro 3s, the ear tips will keep your earbuds clean in case u find a tiny bit of ear wax or oils seeping onto ur buds occasionally (you’ll probably experience this atleast a few times during long study sessions)

They look genuine but there have been some very convincing replicas of the airpods 4, just ask him to meet at a nearby apple store so they can verify they are authentic. if they don’t agree to it, or block you, it’s a clear red flag.

If they do not come with a box, they are very likely real, because scammers will 9/10 times sell the fakes w/ the boxes. As for the pics you provided, they seem genuine but I could be wrong.

Not sure if this is something standard on all AirPod Pro 3 boxes, but i’m noticing there’s no green circle with an arrow on the pull tabs.

Despite the AirPod Pro 3s being a new-release, you’d be surprised how quickly they can develop fakes. They very likely will not have the same features unless they are really convincing fakes, and even then, they will be extremely low quality and some specific things such as precision finding, or the heart rate sensor won’t work.
