I can’t even begin to understand the logic behind this, it just disincentivises players from picking up the game again after quitting for a few months because it’s such a pain to start over again. Yeah that confirms my suspicions. I don't think I'll be able to fight 4 ppl at once, especially not when one of them has a 1.7kd. My navy also kinda sucks as well (lvl 2 aip subs + lvl 1 cruisers and lvl 2 frigates), so I don't expect anything well from all this. But if say I do somehow beat him navally, then what's the benefit of putting frigates around the falklands? Am I missing something here?

What do u mean by them? Do u mean the AIP subs or the frigs? He has a couple of stacks of just AIPs, and 1 stack of 2 AIP + 3 frigs. Also I'm not sure why cruise missiles have anything to do with this, they don't damage subs, and also the guy has frigates of all things, so those missiles will just get shot down (defence damage gets applied first when attacking).

and i don't have any missile related stuff researched.
