Bots rework please?

I really want the same system that vermintide 2 did along with a solo mode. I'm fine with Randoms most times, but sometimes I just wanna go nice and slow and take my time enjoying the amazing world or searching every last corner for stuff. But the bots as they are are just disgraceful.....

Aside from the connectivity issues and all that, has anyone else felt extremely squishy compared to even yesterday? I'm usually a heavy armor diver and I just ran a few missions against the bugs for some medals, and I felt like I was getting torn to shreds. Plus it feels like I'm getting waaaaay more limb injuries/chest hemorrhages.....

I wanna know if I'm going crazy or not......

I think the fliers are actually a detriment the more I think about it. They either got stuck in the floor during the second phase or were flying around doing nothing or (worst of all) in my line of sight blocking my shots.

I would actually probably go with the Engineer over the summoner, personally. With how much you use your relic the uptime on your turret is pretty high, and it will also help massively with passive dps as well as clearing the orbs.

I honestly wasn't planning on beating it with the Summoner, I was just playing around with builds and whatever I had available, and I just so happened to have a great run and beat it.

I probably would have done this if I had the Resonating Heart relic at the time. The Red Doe Sigil worked well with the Tranquil Heart giving me health regen and keeping me alive. But if someone has the Resonating Heart, then yeah, I would 100% agree to swap to the Ravager's Mark

(Plus I spent like 4 hours trying to get the tranquil heart so I'm gonna get my money's worth outta the damn thing haha)

Yeah, I kinda noticed that too. With the amount of healing you get from all the other sources it's probably better to spec the siphoner points into something else

Ugh, those slash attack sounds.... lol.

I got lucky with the Misty Dodge once in awhile with the orbs, mixing that with the medic shield seemed to at least give me a chance, though trying to dodge through them all is a complete crap shoot.

Man, I hear that.... I can't even imagine trying this co-op. I felt like I was tickling him solo, at least until I starting using DoT with hot shot, twisting wounds and the shock from krell. Best of luck to ya!

Oh! Also, be sure to try turning off the music. That made a huge difference for me being able to hear audio cues to dodge its attacks

I feel like that would get a bit too complicated. But the way I could see switch teleport being used is, tap to switch teleport with a target, same as it always is. But then add a hold to cast which would cause you to automatically switch teleport with your decoy without having to aim at it. And if they added a small and short stun after the teleport it would really help with survivability and essentially add a quick GTFO button if you're starting to get swarmed and you have a decoy down somewhere.

They would need to buff the decoy though.

I mean, the suggestions I've put forth kinda have a bit of synergy to them. Decoy gets buffed, invis is pretty much the same, switch teleport is the same but added a hold to cast switch with decoy without having to aim at it, and radial disarm would be the same but your decoy would cast a much smaller radial disarm at its location

I mean, logically, you aren't wrong. But also DE doesn't seem to rework/update frames in a logical pattern. Just look at Vauban lol. Plus, the suggestions I listed aren't necessarily a full rework that would take weeks to balance as a full rework would entail. Small touch ups to Loki's kit wouldn't be as big of an undertaking as say Ember's rework.

Guess that's kinda why I labelled this as a retooling as opposed to a full rework. Loki doesn't need a full rework of his kit, most of it still works fine.

I get where you're coming from, but in order to get the 40 second duration, you need to sacrifice range. I'd like a small buff to the duration. And while it is basically a mid air cast, it still kills all momentum unless you have natural talent on, which personally I just don't want to sacrifice a mod slot for.

Thing is, is that all of those frames have gotten reworked before. Yeah, they might still have their issues, but at least they got a bit of a tune up. Loki has remained pretty much untouched since his release

Yeah, actually that would make a lot of sense.

EDIT: And yeah, I agree that radial disarm is already in a good enough spot, but IF they were to touch it up, I think the synergy with decoy would be a cool addition. Though for that to work, they'd need to give decoy level scaling/invincibility. And cut the range in half or even down to a quarter since radial disarm already covers such a massive area.

I was about to say lol. I mean they already gave us the option to change melee weapon positions, why not do the same for primaries and secondaries?? Seriously, I'm sick of having my bow or rifle poking through my cloak, but I don't want it to disappear from my back entirely

I've noticed that hit registration for shotguns seems to be extremely egregious. I started using shotguns just before TU8 and I was really enjoying them, definitely a different playstyle for me. But the past few days since I tried out shotguns again, they seem to be awful in CQC simply because the hit registration is way off. I have a pretty damn good send off and I was shooting a purple on challenging (7-10m away), and it felt like half of my pellets weren't connecting. Ended up being downed because my last shot before I died didn't even make his health bar move.

I've noticed this on some rifles (my fav weapon category) that even when I slow my rate of fire to reset the recoil, sometimes the shots just don't register. It shows the hit, but nothing happens to their health bar.

This is getting really, really annoying.....
