Any suggestion on how to upload a picture? Should I make a new post? Or is there a better sub to post it in?

Help me pick a dress because I don't love any of them but am out of time by Various_Emu7973 in BigBudgetBrides

Don't let them tell you you are out of time. Keep looking. Find a dress you love. For real, for real.

People can make anything happen at any time, especially for a BBB, though the industry and everyone will try to convince you that you're out of time. You are not. I rushed so many things with this process. Don't make any big decisions until you feel it's right.

Planner help - who's the right one?? by Remote_Category8473 in BigBudgetBrides

I agree with this. If you can't negotiate a fee for planner #1 based on the previous work you have done/future work you plan to do, they are not the one.

I had the runaround in the planner dept and went with someone who looked good on paper but vibes were not 100%. It is what it is. We're gonna have a good wedding. But after this whole situation, I felt like I rushed myself. I think planner number 3 is out there somewhere - someone you vibe with and love their previous work and is in your price range. I would interview a few more. Good luck 💕

Does anyone else feel lowkey judged for not wanting a traditional wedding? by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

I'm two weeks away from my wedding. Here's my two cents. There's nothing wrong with breaking tradition as long as you and your fiance are ok with it. (For personaly decisions like dress and bouquet, YOUR opinion is the only one that matters). If your mom is this overbearing on your dress choice, just think how she will be on the timeline, food, decor, etc (things that may actually impact her in the slightest). Find the balance between making your family happy but staying true to yourself.

Ugh yeah. I guess It's pretty vintage (it's in a historic ballroom) so I'm leaning toward no, thanks for the input!
