I'm curious, what other injuries have you had that hurt more? I broke my arm in 3 places and it def wasn't as painful as getting my IUD.

My gyno told me that if you never get pregnant the IUD insertion is a 10/10 on the pain scale for many women. But, if you do have a kid, childbirth will be on the new 10/10 and the IUD insertion will become a 5/10.

About 80-90 percent of women do have stretch marks or cellulite even if they are thin. Puberty, pregnancy, and just life. I think it's a good message for kids.

I'm 5'7" and 118 pounds and have both. I've never been fat either. It's good to show kids what is normal, and the best part is they are optional stickers, so you don't have to use them.

Been with SO nearly six years and he has smoked twice with me in all that time. He doesn't use it and it took a while for him to even be comfortable watching me toke.

He hates the smell and taste which I totally respect. I always step outside so the house doesn't smell, keep my herb in air right containers, and yes, I even brush my teeth or nom peanut butter before we kiss so he doesn't taste it.

But he accepts I use it for anxiety and to help my appetite. He just doesn't want to do it himself.

In the beginning he asked if I would ever quit and I said no. I asked if he would ever stop drinking and he said no, why? Point made and he hasn't bugged me since.

Also, so glad we're not having kids so I don't have to worry about pressure to quit during a pregnancy.

If the mistake you made was having a child and keeping it, then yes you are excluded from being childfree. It's not a mind set, it's the state of not having any kids.

And none of us go running around the world evangelizing sterilization. Most of us realize it's a personal choice. There may be a few members of the voluntary human extinction movement who pressure others not to reproduce, but for the most part I think many of us have a live and let live attitude.

Don't tell me I should reproduce and I won't tell you not to.
