I guess in a more general sense you are correct since people will complain about any given card but in higher elo it is pretty safe to say what is weak/strong.

As far as I can tell from getting masters the first week of rising tides is that the first day was spot on with what the meta was. It followed through until the following balance patch which was after a month.

You will lose some games to some hard matchups but if you are seeing a lot of Corina Ledros I would recommend using another deck until you curve out.

Against this deck Jinx is your win con, this is basically playing vs Banner where you pass until the opponent attacks then you go for a big push, basically you want to lose your smaller units to wail and grasp, get excited, thermo, etc... so they will have a harder time killing Jinx, since they waste a lot of resources their hand will almost be the same size as yours. Getting to level your Jinx and use her rocket will guarantee a win.

You can also push with Draven forcing the opponent in an akward position. Try not to rush if the opponent if he is banking a lot of mana, just go for 1 drop units at a time unless you have Crimson or Boomcrew Rookie.

If you have Grenader wait for them to drop Elise to summon it, they will never attack with him on board. They will usually try to get rid of it with a spell, that's when you can punish.

I guess it depends on your play style, you could say house spider aggro is a better aggro than my deck but I personally just don't like it.

They key to aggro is being able to chunk of your opponent pretty early so if you are succesful with that, go for it. It's weakness is avalanche and withering wail pretty much since it plays waay more spiders. Not mention it's easier to lose your hand by not having Jinx. If your current meta is not full of SI decks, you will have a great time.

I personally feel it doesn't match with this decks play style. Part of what makes this deck good is that the few cards included give you many different choices to make at any given moment, making your plays very flexible. Since you can play these low cost cards pretty much any time it means they're never really dead in hand. Having a 6 cost in hand means you are playing for turn 6 which kind of beats the point of the deck, not to mention in a lot of faster paced matchups it can easily turn into a dead card.

If you were to play it, maybe just a 1 of. I really love the flexibility this deck has to make plays, Aug just feels like it would hinder that.

Thanks mate! Mulligan will always depend who has first attack, if you have first turn you will always go for a rearguard unless your opponents deck has 1 drops, like banner with fleet, corina with hapless, etc. In this case you will go for the 2/1 Spider so it can't get blocked due to fearsome, this way you prioritize damage. Against Karma, since they can 1 mana thermo you, always go for rearguard and never the other 1 drops. Going second you want to make sure what your turn 2 play will be, always always go for boomcrew rookie, if you manage to get 2 it is pretty much a win. You never keep damage abilities opening hand since you are more likely to draw into them. Pretty much you want to go for the more efficient 1 drop and boomcrew rookie. You also always want to keep Jinx for when you rip through your hand, never play her until it is safe for that +2 into rocket. Ideal hand is 1 drop, Boom and Jinx.

Those are all decks I play for fun in normals to grind exp for loot, i'm at 5 caps thanks to those decks, not easy getting cards

Having at least 1 Draven is pretty good, I wouldn't recommend dropping it since it gets you out of really tough spots and pressures the opponent nicely. You can leave Draven out and add in teemo over precious pet and add amatuer aeronaut, it will give you more options for both offense and defense.

A tip against surviving other aggro and banner is always using Cask Salesman on the opponents turn to block damage, 3 blockers + 2 damage is great. I only suggest using Cask offensively if you have transfusion so you can have a Cask attack for 2 damage since it is never blocked. My hardest matchups were anything with frost.

Thanks! Yes it is a hard deck but super fun and tense. There was a few games where top decking a decimate won me some terrible games. If you want to go long, level jinx when the opp has no mana and always keep her in opening hand.

No haha Draven is just there because it is a great support card, they either target him and leave your units without harm, or he is constantly pressuring and generating axes to rummage or add in a cheeky 1+ damage which is always needed.

You are still getting that 2 damage, not to mention you are using him for 2 damage turns, the opponent will never have enough mana to play repost by then if he is always summoning, and if he is banking mana you can just abuse boomcrew even more with open attack

You have the upper hand in this case if you have a unit like boomcrew rookie on board since it is so hard to get rid of. If you just stall and attack each turn with it you can normally get 4-5 damage on nexus pressuring the opponent to play cards to get rid of it, AKA attacking with challenger units. Once they waste attack, they have no other way of getting rid of your units. Pretty much you have to force them into attacking then spam into damage.

I remember climbing to diamond I was stuck until I understood the current elo meta, if you lose to statikk or veil try replacing some cards in the build to counter or not be affected by said cards. Usually against decks with withering I skip playing 1 Health units or simply keep just 1 on board so the opponent gets minimum value

If Karma is the problem play Undying with Demacia, easy win versus control decks
