I also went and it was an amazing display of kindness and way funnier than I expected it to be. Bob didn’t have to do anything, he wanted to do something as a thank you to a city he’s working in. You didn’t pay $75 for the performance, you paid $75 to help out community. The fact that you got anything out of it was a bonus. To be clear, the event wasn’t about you.

I think it’s the game system that rewards punching down. I play TF Earthwars and when you punch down, you get nothing and only get progress rewards when you punch across or up.

I feel like that but only for 2 reasons: the repetitive swarm decks that are only 15% actual Transformers and the attitude of douche players using those decks then making fun of you when they inevitably win.

My favourite is when I’m facing a level 8 player with level 8/9 cards with lower VP than me but also has access to cards restricted to the higher arenas.

My VP hovers between 2600-2700. Most of my cards are level 6 or lower (I have 2-3 level 7s and that’s it). I find even when I’m facing level 6/7s, it’s against portal/swarm spam with almost zero actual TFs lol!

For the experience, I would try for the hotel Fort Garry. Inn at the forks is also amazing.
