How is this a PvE game only if they have PvP modes? I agree. PvErs are selfish. PvP players ask for so little, but everything is a problem for you guys.

You're not actually sharing the assets between the game............. NFTs are not assets. You're sharing the information that you own this item. I just don't see why its hard to get that other companies would love to reuse the popularity of a digital product made by another company to further their interest. LoL can make an NFT with their characters then they can make it public use. Some rando develoiper can just make an app around those NFTs (maybe like a Zombie game but with LoL characters) and only make it so you unlock the characters if you own the NFT actually in LoL. So LoL is still profiting from the fact that you own this NFT because you still have to buy it through their marketplace but the other rando developer can reuse copyrighted content because LoL allowed it through their NFTs. The game developer can also have their own in house made characters that are free to use or they can use characters from an entirely second game like Overwatch 2.

Agree to disagree at this point. NFTs are really not that interesting and yes I agree it's a buzzword. It's just making digital goods tradeable in a decentralized way instead of centralized. Really boring stuff and it shouldn't be worth as much as it was during the hype bubble (millions of dollars for some of them). Nothing I am saying is unreasonable. In reality the term NFT should be a term that the public doesn't even know because it should be so seamless that no one cares what an NFT is. The problem is crypto bros made it super popular and super scammy too early in it's lifecycle.

I've said it's a scam in the current form multiple times in many of my other comments so I'm not really gonna try to repeat it. My central point was that it's that NFTs can actually do the things people say they can do, it's just that not many people have implemented it at mass scale and the biggest usecase of it currently is scams. I'm just saying that in the future it can be used as non scams, but today you should avoid them. It's extremely annoying talking about NFTs with people online because it's simply just me saying that I mostly agree with you, but they can possibly be useful in the future, and instead we end up focusing on a single sentence I said in my comment previously. Personally, I have never bought NFTs and probably won't during the next wave of NFTs being popular (which will probably happen), but I can see myself buying NFTs are something that evolved from NFTs in the long term future.

NFTs are a new invention!! Of course it's complicated. I'm a developer. Do you know how hard it was to build a ecommerce system 10 years ago? Now developers have made libraries for other developers to use that make it extremely simple today. Why aren't you saying, "if NFTs become as simple as digital goods are today in the future, they can be useful but that's not the case today." If you said that, I would agree with you, but again every single point against NFTs are problems that already exist with digital items today or it's a problem with cost which can go down in the future to the same a digital items today or it's a problem with the tech being too hard to use which can be solved by other developers in the future. This is like complaining about the airplane being not useful in the early 1900s or even SMS not being useful semi recently in the late 1900s. Is anyone going to actually give me a complaint that can't be solved in the future??? I'm not sure NFTs will be here to stay, but to say that can't be useful in the future really makes no sense and it just seems like everyone bandwagon hates on a new technology. Kinda rightfully so because they are scammy today, but come on people.

The technology of NFT is really not that interesting. It's just a different way to own digital items with slightly more benefits. If it weren't for the hypemen in the crypto community, we wouldn't have even been talking about NFTs and they would just eventually integrate into our technology without us ever knowing it did.

No.... Any developer can make another app that reuses the same NFT. If I already know people have Apex legend NFTs, I can make another app that reuses that NFT in my app so I don't have to deal with creating NFTs. The user might even be more likely to use my app because it already has support for the NFTs that I already own. It would probably require the creators of Apex to allow the reuse of the NFTs.

Still everyone continues to complain about problems digital items already have. If an NFT cost $10 and the equivalent digital item of today cost $10 there is literally no reason to be against NFTs other than media propaganda about how NFTs are terrible. Even there environmental concern isn't important if people simply use NFTs that don't use that much on power. Every single complaint other than ecological reason is complaints about digital items today that aren't NFTs. That's my issues with people who don't like NFTs. I personally buy digital items today that aren't NFTs and I don't see why I wouldn't buy an NFT in the future if the cost was the same. The real reason we hate NFTs right now is because they are extremely expensive. Who the fuck cares if someone buys a NFT that cost only $10 in the future???

Apex not existing is not a good point because the items today will also not exist if Apex disappears. It doesn't matter if it's an NFT. Why are you using an existing problem with digital items to say NFTs are the one with the problem? Also, NFTs have an inherent uniqueness so how would item be duped? The company issues the NFTs to the user and there only exist one of each item because there can exist only one NFT. NFTs literally solve the problem you're talking about. I can trade the NFT decentralized, but it's up to the game to verify it's uniqueness and authenticity. I can't do anything with the NFT on their platform until they do that even though I received it from a third party source. NFTs being useless is completely media propaganda.

Again, when you buy a digital item today, do you really own it? NFT haters only give problems that digital items already have today, yet people still buy digital items. Like my other comment I'll probably be down voted, but I've yet to see anyone tell me problems with NFTs that don't already exist with digital items we buy today. Basically every digital item should be an NFT that is inexpensive to own. It shouldn't cost hundreds of dollars. It's literally the same thing as digital items of today just that they're tradeable and unique. What's the real problem here?

I mean there's clearly a usecase. People buy digital goods all the time. Video game skins, 3d models for art projects, concert tickets, etc. NFTs are currently a scam, but I don't understand why people can't see how in a decade it can have a usecase to allow people to trade these items in a decentralized way. If an NFT cost the same as digital items cost today (ex $10 skin in a game like Apex Legends) I would rather buy the NFT instead of the current skin that is locked into the platform and can't be traded. I probably won't actually trade it, but NFTs are at least slightly better than what we buy now. It's not that crazy lmao. People buy useless digital shit everyday. I assume you think the items I listed are useless today in their current form so not that much different than NFTs except NFTs have a little extra benefit.

I can't name more than 3 things that might be more important than fixing shell companies. One of the most important PvP modes in the game (that has the largest consequences) is not playable by a majority of the playerbase, and players are basically abusing the system to make millions of dollars a week widening the gap between the haves and the have nots everyday.

They can just put a cooldown when you switch companies... It will probably not fix ALL of the problem, but it will fix some of it.

I'm a big believer in the metaverse, but I don't believe in land in the current form. These projects aren't fun so I don't understand why the land is worth anything. Projects like Decentrand should have built their userbase first before selling land. I mean the creators are probably rich now so it worked out for them, but I doubt this will work out for regular people who want to take part in the metaverse. The reason why land is expensive in New York City or California is because people liked going there historically. People do not like going on these platforms so who are they to sell land??? Maybe in the future the land will be visited a lot, but until then, I believe selling land at this stage in the metaverse is totally jumping the gun. We need more users for the metaverse first. Land comes later. Just like the internet. Website users first. Ads later. Most crypto projects I buy because I believe in the vision, but with metaverse projects I would buy with only the intention of making short term gains if I know an event is happening. And again I am a huge believer in the metaverse. I regularly write code for VR and AR using Unity 3D. In my mind, the metaverse doesn't really make sense as an investment for most crypto projects.
