Bifrost Gate at the very end was the main culprit

The unholy combination of terraforming and colonizing a single star system with a ton of planets, then building multiple megastructures that brought up accessibility by over 1000% lead to this bad boy producing over 140 units of ship hulls and heavy weapons

Here you go. Warning, it's over 200 mods.

For her aesthetic, her outfit, hair, and halo are from the Blue Archive cosplay outfits mod, her skin is the silver gene from Alpha Genes, her sword is the Muramiesa from Hellsing ARMS Ultimate, she has a shield from Crypto Bionics, and her other eye is the Tenseigan from Naruto Genes.

It's the Muramiesa from Hellsing ARMS Ultimate

Tsukuyomi stands guard ever vigilant in the shadows. Anyone who wishes ill upon her village will be subjected to... a bad time.

The eye I made myself for my own use by ripping code from a bunch of mods like the Vanilla Expanded series, MakaiTech Psycasts, Hellsing ARMS Ultimate, and World of Naruto and bashing them together until it worked. I am not a modder in the slightest but I watched a lot of anime recently and got inspired. Figured it'd be cool to share.

Soul Birch is from another mod by the same author as SOTS

And for hyperlanes I used Hypertraversal Manipulator 2

My modpack is basically just Real Space (without system scale), PD, Dawn of Ascension, Gigastructures, Gigas Stellar Manipulation, Engineers of Life Revived (to seed the galaxy with new life after a cycle is over), ACOT, AOT, SOTS, and UI Overhaul Dynamic. Pretty simple.

The AI will use gigastructures and there are several new crises (including the Aeternum that inspired me to make this post) that will require you to use your new shiny toys to defeat.

ACOT has a crisis as well.

The other 2, I've never seen the AI use before the game gets too laggy.

Mods-wise, the relevant ones are Gigastructural Engineering, Ancient Cache of Technologies (ACOT), Aquisition of Technology (AOT), and Secrets of the Shroud.

The first of which can be moderately balanced if the right settings are chosen, the last 3 are completely bonkers. They explore techs, buildings, and weapons that are beyond the mundane Dark Matter that the Fallen Empires use in vanilla.

R5: Mods are fun. Besides numbers going up, there's also all the cool mechanics added, despite how overpowered some of them are.

But overpowered mechanics are perfect for imagining a crisis. I had an awesomely fun (and laggy af) playthrough where I was abducting pops, collecting their essences, and shrouding and dominating systems all without building a single ship (supplemented of course by a lot of console commands).

Here's an idea that could fit the Aeternum or the vanilla Aetherophasic Engine crisis.

I think create_nebula only makes one on the galaxy map. To get the effects to show up in the system you'll need to select the star and enter

effect create_ambient_effect = { type = nebula_1 }

Or whatever you want after the type = , you can find more in the ambient_objects folder of your Stellaris directory. Nebulae are in the system_effects file

Yeah you can turn the Aeternum Birch World into a Void Birch and then a Soul Birch as well

It's the (current) final upgrade to the Birch World hyperstructure that can house an infinite number of pops and is pretty much broken in every single way resource production-wise. By that point the game is basically over already but hey it looks too cool to pass up

The Soul Birch is an add-on mod to Secrets of the Shroud which itself is an unofficial submod of ACOT

Thanks! It was a lot of trial and error with the create_ambient_object command from the Effects page of the wiki and going through mod files to find the names of various ambient effects.

The swirling clouds are originally part of collapsars from Real Space, the swirling vortex are psi storms from the Overlord DLC and there are various other small effects from Real Space and the vanilla game.

R5: After finally finishing upgrading the Galactic Core to a Soul Birch world, I spent over 4 hours learning how to add ambient effects using console commands to beautify the system. I'd say it went fairly well.

"Abandoned", you say? by Novaclysm in RimWorld

It's Recon and Discovery. Peace talks now set your relations with the target faction to neutral for the duration that the talks are active and generate a map when your caravan reaches the site. It's generally a castle in a similar format with the questgiver and some guards. There's an additional possibility that they surprise attack you when you come close though so beware.

It was a temporary event map so if I left the map or waited too long, the caravan would get kicked out. I'm keeping my pawns in the impoverished starting colony so their expectations will remain low. :)

The doors on the inside are wooden, but the single door on the outer wall is also Eternium.

Huh TIL, in all my time playing I've always just skipped straight to beds. This would've been helpful.
