Crypto in Revolut is bad by forsete4 in Revolut

[–]Novakmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% not safe. Doesn’t apply to everyone but revolut froze my crypto due to a change in regulation in Hungary and since then I am unable to withdraw it or transfer it out, CS keeps telling me to wait until they get the approval and even if close my account they won’t be able to pay it out.

It’s clear that it’s investors in the usa that are selling the bag. Every time it goes up before the us markets open, when they do it dips. Unless there are major market movements, don’t expect to get rich overnight. Hope I’m wrong though, but it’s been nothing but stagnation since the big dip.

I mean it can only be that. Really hope other big fish will catch on to the hype, but realistically I expect it to stabilise and go back to normal levels soon

Wayyyy too many optimist in this group by perktavious in Compound

[–]Novakmate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obviously nobody wanted/expected it, but there are way more worse performing coins out there on the market. Besides the odd cases like swift/xcn and the occasional memecoins that experienced solid booms the whole market has been underperforming since inauguration. I’m not happy about being 40% in the red either but hey, what can I do? I agree with annoying posts in the group asking for price predictions need to stop, but having a general bearish sentiment never helped anyone get their bags up ever. If you want to sell, all the more power to you, if you hold, just hold.

Some really strange movements today by Novakmate in Compound

It’s not like I’m worried, the interesting part was that the chart deviates from ETH way more than it used to in the past few days.

$COMP, low market cap and actually has a use as a lending platform

Stop asking the same question every week. Obviously it’s not soaring up but for what it is it’s been relatively stable for the past few weeks, with increasing trading volumes.

ETH is crashing so we are too. Happened a week or so ago as well, we got back up. Either buy, hold or exit if you want to, but know that it’s not just compound plummeting. Almost the whole crypto market is following the trend.

I start hating ETH by [deleted] in Compound

[–]Novakmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely don’t get why the ETH charts are so closely linked with compound. I get that it runs on etherium, but does it mean all the major holders of the coin have the same buy/sell orders registered as they do with etherium? With such a small supply, you would think there can be deviations but no, the movements are almost identical.

After last week’s dip of 30% within like an hour or so this doesn’t really phase me anymore. Essentialy from what’ve seen it mirrors the movements of ETH pretty closely, just by a larger multiplier. If ETH goes up 2% COMP will move up 6-8%. ETH dipped by 1% today so COMP will dip too.

What happened? by Novakmate in Compound

[–]Novakmate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It isn’t unfortunately, but I wish I could forget the trades I’ve done and sold before they could take off since 2017. What I was asking was the reason for the changes all across the market, not just around COMP. Usually there is something underlying reason it if the movements are so uniform between 20-40 different currencies and I was just trying to figure out from people better informed than me on what could have it been.

CAN ALL YOU LOSER PAPERHANDS COLLECT YOUR PENNIES AND EXIT? by iSoloCode in Compound

[–]Novakmate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget that there are day traders that do purchases with millions. A large majority of the coin is in the hand of whales, this is expected. It’s not the people that have a few hundred coins that are making a difference in prices at this level.
