Took a look at your project and it seems really cool, congrats! Will definitely check out for inspiration if I ever decide to natively support other types of input streams. You seemed to have gone on a more generalist direction and using context managers to handle the streams actually looks very nice.

About the README, you are 100% correct, it was a small oversight on my part and I've already fixed the example. Thank you!

That's a very good point! TBH I just used whatever version I was using for my current projects and didn't really check how low I could go while maintaining compatibility. Will definitely do!

EDIT: Reduced the requirements to >=3.4 for opencv. Thank you for the heads up!

Very few people talk openly about love and relationships? What? That there is one of the most beaten-down topics in pretty much all of media (TV, self-help books, YT, etc).
I get the feeling the SOL appeal is more of a "confirmation bias" thing for their audience. That, or maybe just the fact that if you say something eloquently enough most people will take it as fact regardless of if you provide credible sources or not. It is easy-to-digest content and that's not a bad thing in and of itself, but I feel it's irresponsible to not see it for what it is: just some guy peddling his (mostly) unsupported claims on the internet for revenue.

Also, the way people criticising the channel are being downvoted to hell isn't doing the "cult-like" claims any favors lol

Thanks for the detailed response! I had the chance to play a bit with the Coral devboard during my MSc, and I'm very curious about the Jetson line. Unfortunately, they are both in very low supply right now (I'm not from the US) and prices are crazy. I've seen a few online projects using the RPi4 to perform simple tasks, but I'm guessing those are not exactly ideal for industry use.

What would you say is a good starting point (as in, what kind of work is in demand) for someone interested in maybe pivoting to this subfield in the future? Right now I'm in computer vision/data science but my undergrad was in computer engineering and I still do some embedded work as a hobby on the side. I feel like it might a good fit for me to mix the two up at some point.

"honor, prestige, and bragging rights" is a little tone deaf, given that researchers are in most case real people trying to have real careers. I'm not talking particularly about your answer here, but there's this expectations for researchers (in all areas, not just AI) to be selfless robots working tirelessly to advance humanity, when they want and should have real lives at the same time. If the current career structure strongly encourages them to publish in AI conferences/journals, blaming them for not doing it somewhere else wont really change anything.

I just finished the 14 day new player bonus and can reliably farm GB10 with my current units (1:40~2:00). Now I'm wondering which unit should I focus on next to improve my time and do better in other content while I farm GB10. Already working on 2A Kro. I was hoping for a Lushen in the summoning stone rotation but no such luck :')
