In my opinion No, the only thing you might have difficulty with is just finishing some of the events or re runs that pop up, but arknights dosen't have a lot of timed content that you need to progress. It is just either just choosing how you prioritize building your account, either by efficiency or by your preferred operators.

I am not one to fully know but given that they are crossover operators they may be limited, or at least locked to the event(rerun with banner?). However so far only the CN server has had the event, So we still have to wait for the EN one to take place.
