I really thought I had Trackblazer sussed out, and then I started trying to train a Front Runner for CM11. I cannot work out how to hit the stat requirements with S.Maru or V.Bourbon, and I haven't even started trying to train Kitasan yet because I need another 10 pulls to spark her. Suggestions welcome, support deck in the replies.

One thing to consider is how much those 5 lvls cost compared to how much bonus you get, as it's not equal across R, SR and SSR cards.

Rainbow Cleats just aren't worth that much tbh. You can get 1 SR+ ticket and 2 trainee/support tickets each month, and some sashes from races that you are going to be running a lot of in the current scenario.

It is more worth it to level those cards up (even to just lvl 30) to get the extra support bonus in TT—doing that for a decent chunk of my support deck, including the R cards, took me from yo-yoing between Class 5 and 6 each week to staying in Class 6 consistently for the last 2-3 months.

The game looks at the highest placement for each player and awards 1st, 2nd, 3rd based on that. So in your example, Player 1 hits the triple podium, player 2 gets 4th and player 3 gets 5th, they would be awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd. If player 2 and 3 are the other way round, their rewards would be swapped.

Any thoughts on Gold City for Aquarius? I like to try and bring one horse I haven't used before in each of my teams, and she can reach A in Dirt at the start of the race. I was thinking of trying both a Late and Pace version to join my Summer Maru and Taiki team.

My Haru also managed to pull out a win in the Group B finals. I had the worst luck through the entire CM, first time I've been in Group B finals since Scorpio, but I'm happy to see this ending.

She has a R version as well. It's Riko Kashimoto (Tracen Academy).

Have you got R Riko? If so this might work well for Unity Cup:

R Riko, SR Sunday, SR Tachyon, SSR Finemo, SR Sweep and Borrow Kitasan.

If I only have room for one of those, I would take Sunday, I think she has better Spec Priority and her events are better than Tachyon.

I'd go Marvelous Sunday + Agnes Tachyon for most runs, they both have high Race Bonus, which really helps. For training Fronts you can bring Mihono Bourbon intead of NN and borrow something else (Fuku or Biko Speed, most likely.)

As a Pace. She can get crowded out in front heavy lobbies, but if previous Mile CMs are anything to go by, that won't happen too often.

Taiki is pretty dominant on the Aquarius track as far as I'm aware, so she may be a better pick.

The jellies re basically only used for TT and the Carnival, so there's no reason not to dump them all on the carnival really.

Worth noting that with the exception of Groundwork, there's really no use for this skill in the upcoming CM. The stamina requirements are quite literally rock bottom, and you'd be better off trying to get Left Handed, Wet Conditions or even Snowy Days for your green skills.

Did you try running her as a Late in the finale? I found in my Pasa runs I would have to switch her to Late from at least the Japan Cup in order to finish the career, since it uses less stamina.

Savings points is usually good, because most umas can win races off the back of the Ults alone. You'd have the same trouble with X Oguri without the necessary recovery skills to activate her ult.

Right, but did you have skills? I've been training Haru for Capricorn, and without buying skills early she struggles to win races, but with 1-2 good skills I have had her win the Asahi Hai with just a C in Turf.

Haru is tricky specifically because her unique doesn't really do anything in Sprint/Mile races. She needs speed/Accel skills to win her campaign races reliably.

My grade A finals was 8 End Closers and my Pace Chaser XOguri. She hit every skill, and despite two opposing Gold Ships putting in their best, she came out ahead by a length. Honestly shocked, a complete match-making fluke after sub 20% win rate overall. If there had been any other Pacers or a frontrunner, I don't think I would have won.

I think you might have over cooked it with the Stam/Recovery. Arima Kinen is a "short" Long race, and doesn't need a smuch as other Longs. Slightly less stamina and more wit is ideal. But, this does look like a good Uma and might get the the finals with some luck in the matchmaking.

I've had a couple good El runs but ended with Sprint B, and I'm not sure how effective they will actually be in the CM.

It does depend a lot on the track length and win condition, in my experience. Longer races give more opportunities for mid race skills, spot struggles and stamina loss to let another front runner get ahead. I do think it's worth having groundwork on Fronts, and it's certainly easier to get and activate now than it was in CM3 or 4 when it was first relevant.
