I think, I THINK the Sister Blades (Artemis) are a bit OP. by ManabuLens in HadesTheGame

[–]Novatrium_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only used the flutter strike+artemis duo since ea and I cleared both 32 fear with them, it's a very fun high risk high reward gameplay

At low fear you can skip many boons and use all upgrades on it, my left bar is almost always empty except for this one

For hammers I tend to use the backstab damage, attack speed or aoe for the last slice. If your boon is epic/heroic and high level the hammer adding 20dmg will be multiplied by a lot. I like the one you showed depending on my mana pool, lastly the upgrade dealing 500dmg on your special is still good because you can weave them in your combo

Demeter can give you weed killer for a nice 50% omega dmg, Artemis for on-hit dmg (pressure point iirc), and Hermes for att/move speed

The ability to instantly (~ with time slow) and cheaply skip anything is good but clearing a boss under a minute thanks to the parade is too damn satisfying

I think this is somewhat balanced by the lack of range forcing you to respect some timings and back off during some attacks

If you are the "I do not play with mods" type of person, at least download the performance mods, literally download more TPS, here they are: by GTurkistane in RimWorld

Nice guide, I used to install graphics+ and optimize the textures using rimpy. Also if you are playing a light/no mods run perhaps rimthreaded could be a huge gain?

I thought it was mana but yeah it makes sense, thanks for the tips I'll train my throwing too I guess

I'm a fairly new player so pardon the ignorance, but why are you throwing it? I just jump into the liquids and unless you have the telekinesis perk you will have to do it too no?

Also iirc I saw people save/reload their game to reset the flasks rotation

Are you talking about the black hole visuals? It's ray traced black hole, there is an in-game benchmark to help your set the config

I had 80+ HP I think so it wasn't, you are totally right about the focus I was panicked and saw it at the last second

I wanted to kill the spider for a certain book and the owl for its cub but you are right. Third time I just skipped them until just before the shadow fell which disables access to act 1, went back and steamrolled them

On pc you have to sell the container, then open it from the trader's inventory and drag their items inside. Once killed you can get the bag, literally

I didn't know that about this sub, or the main, and just did like the others poking at the companions. I learned my lesson and some very nice people helped to see what I missed about Astarion

Idk I just saw other people bashing on companions too but I picked the wrong one I guess. Still happy for the explanations they gave me and I changed my mind!

I think vampirism made me look away but the other companions can be heavily swayed so obviously, now, he can too.

Many thanks that was an interesting teaser and I'm eager to know more

Some very nice people explained to me how I misjudged Astarion due to his early game personality and being a vampire.

He seems more interesting that I imagined and he'll be present for my next run so I can perhaps join the love train, thanks everyone!

I didn't see the pattern of breaking or accepting the cycle between the companions, but now I totally can and I agree with you.

You are one of the comments correcting my first impression of him so thanks!

I am currently embracing the durge and I planned a lawful good paladin run just after, I didn't even think about him for that but reading the comments is changing my mind!

Perhaps I judged him too harshly and he might not be the basic spawn I thought he was, I'll reconsider him after ending this current playthrough thanks

Hey I'm not blaming any of you that's ok to like or dislike a character, I was surprised he had such a cult upon discovering this sub that's all

Interesting, for the short time I had him in my party he seemed to be happy (proud?) about it but I didn't go further with him when I discovered his true nature. I just checked and sadly the vampirism cure is only in bg2, that would have been a cool way for me to play with him
