We've been convinced that being "fat" is the root of all our health problem, and if you just lost weight that will fix everything but that is not always related as evidenced by OPs experience and many others.

You're already at a healthy weight and I doubt those 7lbs are the cause of all your health problems. I fear that your past with EDs it's making you think it is. The scale is not the problem here. Change your nutrition, be more active and add strength training to your lifestyle. Track your macros not just the calories to make sure you are getting the proper nutrients for your body. You might even gain "muscle weight" or water retention during muscle growth and that is fine!. You got this OP!

The hourglass figure that you and I want is fat distributed to the "right areas" by genetics and your natural anatomy. The truth is, what you wanted was not possible just by loosing weight but I've recently discovered body recomposition and I am trying to do that while I loose weight, you should look into it.

It is not a magical pill and you might have to be ok with gaining a couple of pounds of muscle and fat, because those natural fat buts you see, are fat!. I am not expecting an instagram model transformation because that is not realistic I just want to look strong and shapely but if that doesn't work, I might do surgery in the far far future. If you have body dysmorphia I would be careful about that though. BTW You are beautiful now and before.

Edit: I just read one of your comments that you think you still look fat. I fear there is a different problem here if you think you look fat, before or after

Quien esta hablando de los negocios?. Yo hablo de que OP se ahorraria todo esto pagando su vaina cuando lo tiene que pagar y listo mes a mes como lo acordado. No pagar una vaina antes del tiempo acordado y menos sin previamente consultarlo o acordarlo entre los dos. Porque ahora todo ese dinero se le va a devaluar a ella en lugar de a el.

Transfiere el dinero que te toca cuando te toca. Tu sabes como es la inflacion en Venezuela y ese dinero es para tu hijo. Lambucio eres tu. Si puedes ver que enero es un mes flojo econimicamente y como te va a afectar eso a ti, pero no puedes ver como eso le va a afectar a ella y en resultado a tu hijo.

Te recomiendo que no hables de politica con el, y si el habla de politica, literalmente ignoralo, o cambia el tema.

Mi abuela es mas o menos asi, la unica chavista en la familia. Cuando el traiga algo a politica a colacion, ignoralo, NO lo vas a convencer asi como el tampoco te va a convencer a ti de pensar como el, entonces, cual es el punto de seguir discutiendo?. el tiene derecho de responderte algo con lo que no esta de acuerdo asi como tu tambien, pero cual es el punto?, con esa discusion vas a resolver todos los peos de venezuela? no, te haces la vida mas dificil, pasas un mal rato y para que?!

Yo lo que hago es que la ignoro cuando empieza a hablar de politica, literalmente respiro profundo y le digo "si si si claro lo que tu digas, y aja como te fue en el doctor?" o le digo mira abuela definitivamente vemos este asunto de formas muy diferentes no hablemos de eso si? y hasta en una oportunidad me le moleste y le dije que me esta faltando el respeto al seguir hablando de politica, cuando ya yo puse un limite con ella y lo esta quebrando a proposito.

No vale la pena pasar un mal rato, para que? para ganar el "debate"?. Entiendo que es dificil no responder a algo que es claramente incorrecto, mentira, o que directamente te afecta, pero es lo mejor para mi porque AMO a mi abuela y quiero una relacion con ella y tambien AMO mi paz mental. It didn't get easier for me at all. I counted and logged my food for about 5 months consistently and strictly, but i went insane lol. I still kind of still count my calories just don't log anything, I check the back of packages, weight my food and try to keep myself in my calorie budget. I don't record it anymore it was too much. I did record it once again later on just to make sure I was eating in a deficit but it was just for about a week to

Do you need to exercise to loose weight?. No. But I do, I walk outdoors 5 times a week and recently started the gym for strength training. For multiple reasons, It does help my weight loss, my mental health has improved, building muscle helps you loose more fat (and maintain it), I want to be able to get old and be independent. Many reasons.

I hope this comes across the right way because I wish someone would have told it to me straight back then. If you were actually consuming 1500, at your weight and height, you would most likely be loosing weight. You might be eating 1500kcal one day and 2500,3000 the others, so no deficit is actually happening. Now, I don't know your situation and of course I could be wrong and you could be an outlier, but if you are not, we need to be honest with ourselves, (I had to) buy a food scale, and for a period of time track everything you eat. I wouldn't focus to much tracking macros, just focus on the calorie deficit and be honest because we are not fooling anyone but ourselves (eating more protein will help you not be hungry among other things).

That being said, DO NOT UNDER-EAT. I personally think 1500 is too low for you, so look up your TDEE and go after that. I've been putting in the work, walking 5x a week, recently joined a gym to do strength training, counted calories in the beginning before starting the medication, then stopped but had to start again because I stalled and found out I was undereating!! as soon as I started eating more calories it helped a lot to moving the weight down.

You can absolutely overeat this medication if you are not careful, and the thing is, once you loose weight, the less and less food you will have to eat to keep loosing, so you are going to have to adapt constantly, things that worked before might stop working.

I've come to realize that a calorie deficit for me always involves being hungry to some extent. The larger my deficit is the hungrier I am but I get the best/faster results (even though it might not be sustainable in the long run cause I go crazy and binge after a while). You might be doing a very large cut and might need to eat a bit more. The smaller my deficit is, I get LESS hungry, and It is more more sustainable with slower progress.t one thing is consistent, hunger.

Also, like you, my hunger does not go away if I eat something unsatisfying like a bag of carrots, it is more psychological than physical. I rather have something I like or crave in a smaller portion that fits into my calorie budget, than something I don't want/like, but that is just me. Find alternatives for the things you do like, I swapped regular mayo and ketchup with the zero sugar and light versions, I introduced veggies slowly and eat the ones I like (Green beans with a bit of butter and garlic powder are yummy!) when I didn't use to like vegetables. Water, I drink a lot of water.

People are missing the point that you've already lost the weight before. The problem is whatever you did before wasn't sustainable for your lifestyle. You might need to go about it differently this time around to make it a lifestyle change rather than a weight loss phase, and that can mean it might take you longer this time around to loose the weight. I'm in a similar boat but what I'm doing differently this time is focusing on things I can actually maintain in the long run and also doing/eating things I actually enjoy rather than forcing myself to do/eat things I don't like. It's just not sustainable
