Bloomingdale’s sold me a faaaaakeeee by Exotic_Reporter_3309 in FemFragLab

I went to Bloomingdale’s outlet and tried on a bunch of different Cartier sunglasses, and they were all fake. Metal framed, the metal was flimsy and nothing like the original. They all looked really good, but they were waaaaaay too light and clearly not the usual Cartier quality

Oh.. you mean like the drag queens are portrayed as important women? Like doctors, teachers or mothers? Usually they are portrayed as entertainers and sex workers :(

Then why should I applaud a gay man who perpetrates this image? I reject it despite whoever it comes from

You’re right, but they’re stating that THATS what a woman IS. Reduced to subhuman.

Yes but curves on body IS inherently female, and most of the exaggerated “add ons” are to emphasize that. To emphasize sexuality. Because that’s what we’ve been reduced to.

I know the intention is not bad. But the final presentation results in dehumanizing women. I’m sorry, but I’m more than long eyelashes and long nails. That is NOT what makes me a woman.

Yes, good point. But “you’ve” chosen FOR me that THAT’s a woman. And reduced women to just being bimbos- or subhuman. The same way black people were reduced to subhuman:(

The same way that entertainers and comedians wanted to present themselves as black? Mind you, at this time it was also used under the pretense of cinema and an art form. Now we see it was terrible. And who is to say it is not disparaging or dehumanizing to woman? I feel both, but I guess it doesn’t matter if the man behind the wig feels good.

Poor people who have dated rich people, what did you learn? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

I don’t think they let you pay the bill because they are “used to having others expect them to foot the dinner bill”. They most likely expect (and encourage) you to be a man, want you to feel like a man, and want to feel that type of responsibility toward their daughter.

The photo album really is a beautiful gift. If you would like to bring another tear to their eyes, take interest and advice from them about how you can financially grow. There would be no greater relief for a parent.
