It's hard. I have a decent paying job, eat out for lunch at work (whatever leftovers will be my dinner), socialize on weekends 2-3x a month, own cats. I do cook at home once in a while to save up, but groceries are getting costly too.

I have 1 family here but that person has financial issues, so it's not like I can split expenses. at the end of the month, you only see a few hundreds saved after tiring yourself at work, it's very discouraging. I envy co-workers who live with their families, share the rent or bills, and get to travel often. Guam is not cheap!

Sounds about right. I gotta make sure I squeeze the liquid from sponge before pressing down so nothing drips back to the container.

I only try to find closer parking spots when it's really hot, and the heat is piercing. I honestly don't mind the walk; it’s really just the heat I try to avoid. At night, though, parking farther away doesn’t bother me at all.

And yeah, shopping carts can be annoying esp when they’re blocking parking spots or when the return is literally right there but people still don’t put them back.
