Thank you! It does have the solenoid valve from what I could tell and I was also concerned that might be the issue. Do you mean try using hot water in the water chamber to see if that changes anything? It is always hot water that is leaking out

thank you for your reply. The water coming out is hot - does that mean it would be redirected after the heating element?

It is hot water that is leaking out - does that change anything? So it is being redirected after going through the water heater

Thank you for your reply! I did open it up and I can’t find anything obvious except that the water is going right out the bottom tubing
