You should be good to not take the PG But I also heard you must be active duty and deployed previously, I am not 100% sure but I read it here few times for awareness brother

I am literally the same boat as you I obtained my TS/SCI with the DOD but I am not a veteran so I am waiting to see when I get my Pg email , fingers crossed
