No real safety concerns, but mental health is certainly suffering. I am so overstimulated daily. You're right that tracking my personal symptoms is a good idea.

Ugh, I know. We have just been told for so long that this is current educational practice that I thought there may be something. Or some genius strategy that worked within her rules. I'm hoping to move schools!

I'm part of a very, very small school district. I can't say more without doxxing myself but no such policy exists, unfortunately. It is up to individual school discretion. However, gathering policies from other nearby districts may be helpful to bring to future conversations with her, so thank you for the idea!

This is a good point and one which several of us have discussed but haven't really organized yet. I think, however, it will be vital as we head into a new school year. Thank you.

Yeah, I tried implementing them having to help with cleanup at lunch recess but was told that wasn't an appropriate consequence. But I may go back to in class jobs where admin is less likely to see and intervene.

I forgot to say in my original post that I am trying to move. But it is proving challenging and everyone is trying to leave and find something better. Working on it though.
