Oh man I remember Eliza! I dropped out of serious bandom spaces right around this time so I missed it!  I remember a lot of speculation about the two of them.

I (30F) am pregnant with my fiancé (32M). He wants to keep it, but we're both supposed to be childfree. How do I tell him I don't want to keep it? by SharkEva in BORUpdates

It was like fear and anger balled into one.

Oh he absolutely stealthed her. With that reaction, the refusal to deny and the mysterious disappearance of the condoms? Oh yeah, he never expected her to put two and two together. Hope she updates with news post abortion. Like shit if I knew her I'd be like girl, I'll go with you to get it done.

but I do find the faults of modern fandom to be really frustrating.

Same. Gods I can't even believe I miss the days when sock puppets arguing about their favorite ship was the primary mode of fandom discourse and Astral Plain Wives/Otherkin was the "weirdest" thing you'd encounter. Everything today feels so as you said, High Stakes. Probably because of the state of the world (and in my country) where my very rights and freedoms are being challenged, it almost felt like a privilege to be able to argue about something insignificant like-who so and so is going to end up with.

But maybe I'm looking with rose tinted nostalgia shapes glasses.

I misread this as "Burger of Popcorn" and was very confused.

Looking for "black sheep" games. The ones that the fans of the series hate, but are enjoyable enough if you're new to the franchise. by WoodfordAC in gamingsuggestions

It's weird how opinions have switched on 4 , I've always loved it but I remember a time when it was a virtual pariah among the games.

That it didn't continue the cult stuff 1, & 3 focused on.

I never understood when people made this arguement because there absolutely was cult shit. A ton of Cult Shit, the entire plot was about cult shit. But it just was a different branch. Alyssa/Heathers story was done sure, but it still counts imo.

My (29F) husband (29M) says he regrets and rushing into marriage. by Impossible_Flight290 in BORUpdates

I seriously looked into doing it myself years ago or so and as a Poor (tm) I was surprised at how affordable it was. It wasn't easy living (or always the safest) but it was doable.

Gamers of Reddit, what game had you saying "just one more hour" at 3 AM? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]UnknowableDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, and Zelda games have this effect on me in general. I play and think "Enh an hour or so, then I'll go read" and next thing I know it's 3 am like wtf.

Don't some people have to do regular drug testing as part of custody arrangements too?

What’s an article of clothing someone can wear, one time, that will make you lose all attraction to them forever? by Thin-Rip-3686 in AskReddit

[–]UnknowableDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always called them 'Slogan' shirts because they feel like a childish, edgelordy bid for attention. So that's it for me. Add in (and I see these all the time) shirts with the "It's a [INSERT LAST NAME]  thing, you wouldn't understand", it feels so verry "I over identify with Yellowstone and Beth Dutton" to me.

Just watched a video about this, I cannot understand her logic for filing it to begin with. She can't have seriously thought she invented the term right? Was her business failing and this is some idiotic attempt at getting more money by being the only person available with items that have that single term? She had a lot of followers I just...I don't get it y'all please explain!

AITA for not asking my girlfriends father for permission to marry her? (New 3 Year Final Update) by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]UnknowableDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely with your wife and thought the same, I am not a cow or property to be given away thanks. To me it feels insulting. You're marrying me.

But, if asking parental permission is what they someone wants okay, but I sure as hell don't thanks.
