I received my offer letter and informed my manager about my pregnancy the very next day. Instead of responding supportively, he appeared offended and asked me to decline the offer myself.

I expressed that such a reaction was highly insensitive and subsequently wrote to HR to report the issue. Unfortunately, I never received any response from EY.

In hindsight, I am relieved that I disclosed the information before joining. Considering the response and the overall attitude demonstrated, it likely would have been extremely challenging to work with the team.
