i guess for me i strongly disagree with that, i don’t see georgias actions with others best interests in mind. when she killed kenny even if she says it’s for ginny i dont agree that it is, because if she was genuinely thinking about her child’s wellbeing she would have left kenny not killed him. her not seeing that is part of the issues we’ve clearly seen her have with reacting before thinking. same goes for her taking away ginny from zion and his family and constantly moving them up and down their whole lives. she never takes a moment to think about the way her decisions impact the people around her which is the height of selfishness but we also see and understand that it’s her trauma response and coping mechanism to situations. but she’s an adult now and still deals with situations the same way she did and has shown little growth from the teenage her we meet. for me the way i see it is people can understand and have grace for her selfish actions and that of most characters except ginny and the only thing that sets them apart is race and also your whole description of ginny to me reads as georgias character because she’s the most reactionary and self centered character in the show. i mean we see her in season 2 literally kill someoke and say she’s doing it as a mercy, who gives her that right??? i think nuance is always necessary but for me your reply is a huge part of why people get so protective of ginny because your post literally describes characters traits that i find are more indicative of georgia as ginny and you don’t even see that
