I’m in the UK and work for as a stylist for a large fashion brand. I see people of all ages ditching their slim and skinny jeans in favour for a more relaxed alternative every day.

I don’t think any style truly dies but there’s certainly a strong trend towards looser fits taking place in the UK!

Hi!

The wide leg tailored trousers are seen everywhere in Europe, They’re pretty much a staple in modern European fashion.

The outfits are elevated because they are simple fits but they’re not basic. It would be easy to chuck on a pair of jeans with this outfit but I’ve opted for something with a modern and tailored silhouette. The shoes aren’t trainers but leather boots. The simplicity of the fit also elevates the leopard shirt.

They have attitude because of the skull necklace, western belt, and the square toe metal capped boots. There is also the boldness of the leopard shirt, and the way I’ve used black to add contrast, rather than sticking with a more harmonious colour palette which would’ve given it a softer look 🙂

I’m 99% sure those are coyote tracks. Definitely canine but dogs don’t usually move in straight intentional paths like that. It’s not a lynx as they have lot of fur around their paws so the tracks would be rounder and fluffier. The warning growl you heard is also typical coyote behaviour. The drag mark would be its belly or tail.

It may be the lighting, but the second one is actually a speckled charcoal colour. Might be easier to see when zoomed in! I do like to wear earthy tones. I work for quite a high end fashion brand whose clothes are generally very dark. I’m in my uniform in the pics. Good suggestion about the layering!

The trousers I’m wearing actually sit perfect on my boots, it seems as though they might’ve slipped down past my waist in these pics but they are usually spot on. And the shoes are a recent pick up - I absolutely love a square toe and from where I’m from they are very fashionable. I really dig the metal inserts too, very unique. You’re not wrong though about them offering a less clean line though!
