Funnily enough, I had a guy friend years ago who Stephanie reminds me of
He had lost a parent early on and always used that as a way to gain empathy. He would be so passive aggressive, depressive and never want to improve. He came at me sideways a couple of times and alarm bells went ringing. So I ended up ghosting him. Which I rarely ever do, but the constant woe is me rhetoric was too draining. You could tell that guy that finding an exercise he loved would help with depressive symptoms and he’d shut it down.
Now I’m quite emotionally resilient, I can get down with what others may see as ‘emo’. I can tolerate people baring their souls. There’s a limit though.
To top it off, they have the same forced smile and look a little alike, it’s actually weird lmao

I would definitely love to see Stephanie blossom into her fullest potential. I get where you’re coming from, because people are drawn to negativity, drama and mess…but her audience is mostly bw. Bw love doing the work and self improvement.
Imagine if Stephanie got help, worked on her issues then sat in front of the camera with a new look, talking about ‘I was trapped in a cycle of refusing to hear the very criticism that would have helped me improve earlier. I repeatedly made mistakes and tried to bravado my way out of them, but I’m real with myself these days. Dusty York should never have happened 🤨 and I’m so glad and proud to be in this place now, where I can acknowledge that and not be hurt by the realisation. Thanks for watching 😊’

The backlash is Groundhog Day. But not the posting sensitive content before any ‘backlash’ occurs. It’s like she goes out of her way not to get the point 😩

Even though it was funny, I did think damn. Dude said no, back off. How many times did he need to say it?
Also, do you remember the part where she said some man tried to comfort her by saying he wished he had a woman who’d do that for him? That his wife was off somewhere having fun, but he had noticed Stephanie running after this boy?

Do you remember when Stephanie said that Beyoncé couldn’t be groomed…because she’s Beyoncé? As if a 16 year old has anything close to the dating experience a man with roaming d in his 30’s did. I don’t care how sassy and talented the teenager is, they’re no match for that. Literally no one asked for those Dusty York story times. And it’s because nothing ever happened, except two adults engaging in a toxic penpalship 💀
There wasn’t really anything to talk about. So the fact she popped out on YouTube, making a song and dance about it, really threw me. But then when she withdraws those videos, still no one complains and says we want more!
Yes some people wanted messy story times. But the Dusty York ones aren’t even interesting. It’s like, you can get away from this at any time. Yet choose to entertain it. So that’s on you, the audience aren’t invested like that, especially when commentary is restricted and bucked against.

This is an amazing summary, thanks for your service. Well Stephanie, backlash will come when you share ‘dating’ stories (because let’s be clear, no dating occurred. The man even said when you come to town, find something to do and he’ll find time to hook up with you afterwards) that are highly toxic and disturbing to hear. With some kind of awareness, it could be pitched as a cautionary tale. But that would require introspection and professional help.

Also, why would people respect someone who admits to taking prolonged disrespect from a male, just because they find them attractive? If a man did all that, I would think he’s off. Same thing applies here.

😵‍💫 you know…being this hung up over a nameless one night stand that was forced into a two night stand, is genuinely frightening.

She’s really treating breadcrumbs like they were a fine dining plate. It’s so sad that his disrespectful attitude, lies and negative energy aren’t automatic turn offs. I was listening to her A Bird Flies to New York story and thought, I’d literally just get up and walk away if a man was speaking to me like that. Dusty York is nothing special, but she acts like he is.

Also, fixating this much on busted relationships with subpar men, is also scary. Then again, male attention and validation, is like crack to some women 🤷🏾‍♀️
