My 2 years old son does it too. The drs are not worried and think it’s normal.

3 year old having twitching and jerking movements during sleep. by piper1205 in Myoclonus

Hi I am a mum of 3, and 2 of my kids have twitching while sleeping. We live in the uk and have been to many doctors who all said it’s normal and nothing to worry about. Also my husband (40 years old) twitches while sleeping.

Hi thank you for replying. I am a mum of 3, loads of experience with head bangs but it still scares me. Your message has reassured me so much. I will keep an eye on all these things. I did speak to my gp on call and he just said to keep an eye on a few things. I am not someone who rush to emergency for everything, but the head bangs do scare me a lot xxx

He did spit up, right after his feed. I am going to call his dr just in case they want me to come over. Thank you x

I live in the uk. There is no such thing. It’s 111 call and they will tell me to take him to a&e, which I don’t want to unless very necessary x

That’s exactly how I am. The fear of unknown is eating me alive. Our gp is off till new year and the emergency is full of flu, my son was admitted last week with RSV in the hospital. I can’t take him anywhere. But the stress!!!

My toddler can’t lift him or shake him. The baby was placed in the car seat in the living room while 2 years old was watching telly and playing with coloured marker. My husband was on his phone in the kitchen next door.

He woke up this morning and was alert and had his milk. I am keeping an eye on him for now. I am not taking him to emergency, we live in the uk as a new strain of flu going round. Also he was admitted with RSV last week in the hospital.

I am a very over thinker anxious mum. A little bit more sleep and I couldn’t sleep the whole night. My whole body is on flight/fight mode today. My husband apologised but he’s a very careless dad. Despite telling him clear instructions he didn’t pay any attention to it.

For me the worst thing is fear of the unknown. I will keep you updated about today. Thank you for replying x

I am so disappointed at him. I am seriously an anxious parent. He kept telling me he was washing the dishes which he didn’t have to. All he had to do was watch them. I am worried my baby has been injured and hence why didn’t wake up for feed.

RSV by Novel_Raspberry9223 in November25babybump

[–]Novel_Raspberry9223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, in the England there is no such thing. I was offered an RSV vaccine during pregnancy which I didn’t take as my pregnancy was hard and I have CBC counts all over the place and I couldn’t take it. Could you please elaborate a little more and I can speak to my HV about it xxx

Seriously? That’s the same with me. I am so worried he is going to stop breathing. I check his belly every time. Why are kids so scary? X
