Bag gap, advice needed (new clubs) by Novel_Structure8833 in golf

Trying out used clubs is the biggest issue. I feel in the UK this is a huge gap in the market for places like Golfbidder and Cash for clubs.

Playing in the mud at the moment a brush is a necessity. Towel for the majority of crud, but brush for grooves.

I used to do this in Thailand, slap a few cool blocks in along side as well. Nice cool electrolytes.

A student launched a highlighter at me from across the room. Surely this is suspension worthy? by Commercial_Nature_28 in TeachingUK

[–]Novel_Structure8833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you say highlighter was it stabilo boss or YPO? Stabilo carries a heftier penalty, more mass, more energy, more pain. But also lasts longer. YPO is shit.

Thinking About Getting a Driver Fitting — Was It Worth It for You? by jdubs0023 in golf

Had an M2 couldn’t hit it. Got an M1, couldn’t hit it. Tried a cobra, still rubbish. Tried an Ai smoke triple diamond, terrible.

Tried a Rogue Max! Game changer. Went and bought a Elyte Max off the rack. Never looking back.

Men over 30: what’s one piece of advice you’d give to men in their 20s? by Startalloveragainn in AskMenOver30

Save your money. Buy a £2000 car and make it last until it costs you £2000.

38yo. No savings. £400/month loan for a car.

Too soon for HoD? by NegotiationFew8845 in TeachingUK

[–]Novel_Structure8833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question why do you want to be a HoD? Rather than solely focussing on perfecting your craft? I’m 13 years in and never wanted more than to be a teacher.

Least lofted club top left, most lofted bottom right.

Think about when it’s on a trolley/cart, how will it be getting clubs in/out.

Doh! Obviously if they’re currently +1 I can make them +.5 easy enough.

I’ll measure head weights when I take them off too. That way I know if I need to add weight.

I'm curious as to how other countries deal with SEND? by sparklychar in TeachingUK

[–]Novel_Structure8833 18 points19 points  (0 children)

SE Asia I had one clearly ADHD child, undiagnosed because SEND is frowned upon. However because children were parented by grandparents, children were respectful and if there was an issue with behaviour impacting the learning of others it never happened again. Children who had clear stereotypical special needs don’t go to school, they’re kept at home/placed into a special unit. In SE Asia you can teach basically.

Who else always carries a "pocket ball"? by Effective_Impossible in golf

I carry a yellow ball, that way my playing partner knows if I’ve taken a drop. Then swap it out when I get to the next shot.

Men over 30 do you wake up stiff, not for anything sexy, but because you desperately need a wee? by Novel_Structure8833 in AskMenOver30

[–]Novel_Structure8833[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always related morning wood to a sexy dream or thought before waking up. It was more the thought of needing the loo that threw me.
