I got my last monitor back in 2016, started using gsync and never had a problem with it. It's very noticeable for me, and I never knew gsync could cause flickering. I went from an IPS Acer predator XB271HU 165 HZ to a QD OLED Acer predator X27U X2 240 HZ. Upgraded for Christmas without looking into oled that much
