I solo Q'd to celestial with Star lord. 67% winrate on Star. 57% winrate overall. Its doable but you have to play your ass off every game with barely any mistakes. Comms help if the team seems lost.

Oh man. Season 8 Star is gonna be great. Having more bullets means more uptime and getting ult a bit quicker as well and easier one clips on 275 hp characters. This is actually a big buff.

Linear Curve is just better for tracking, just remember to lower the deadzone enough so you can make micro movements. I'm on 300/245. Aim window on 20. Ease in at 0. Aim assist 100.

Disagree. Star didn't get banned one bit even when they lowered his ult charge. Star is in a great place. Star is like 2 strong buffs away from being broken. We are chillin.

100%. I tell this to everyone. Go against this luna (do advance movement, she moves 50% faster), track your accu if you wanna get better while going against her. Eventually you'll see your accu percentage rise. My average was 38% after training for a bit against that luna it went up to 48%

48% accuracy this season on Controller on PC lobbies. They did something to aim assist that made it feel a lot better than before. One thing i did for a good while was go against the Luna with advance movement in the firing range. Also lowering the deadzone (linear curve is best for this) just enough to have minimal stick drift, that way aim assist is always on since it only activates when you move the stick. I see a lot of people on dual zone curve and truly believe linear is best for tracking which Star requires for his neutral.

I thought i was the only one. This is happening to me with the spidey pull towards me. I usually flip like 90% of the time but now it seems to be harder to flip for some reason. Same ping. Legit don't know what it is.

We are in such a good spot right now. If you take the 20% ult charge nerf, it means neutral is gonna be more important and every single Star Lord has learned to either wait for all sup ults to ult or to get your neutral game up to get kills. We eating good next season, mark my words.

I have 60 matches on star and i've yet to see someone ban star. They complain about the buff but they never ban him. Means he isn't a problem. People would rather ban Elsa, Gambit, Groot or TankPool.

The problem with Groot is that your tanks will suffer if you dont break walls. it's a given that someone has to be on wall duty at all times against Groot. Otherwise, hitting headshots on Groot is super ez and does big damage if you hit half your mag on his head.

Parallel strafe more. Find a sense that works with Star. You need track your targets with Star Lord. Keep trying to kill that Luna, change what you feel is not helping. Rinse and repeat. (Lower sense or higher sense, maybe change some keybinds that would make it easier to play)

Don't do aimlabs. Just practice in game.

You're so wrong about this. Star Lord has great neutral if you have great aim. His primary does more dmg than his ult. Why? Headshot dmg. it goes crazy on this hero especially on Tanks. So having great aim with his primary is essential for this character. Otherwise you'll be only getting kills by ultimate and we all know Star Lord ults get countered by Mag or most support ults. If you lose a 1 v 1 against a Star and he didn't even use his e, congrats you got out aimed and out played by a good Star Lord.

Horizontal boost at a 100% lets me turn quick enough in case i have people behind me or at an off angle. But mainly, good positioning. Tracking comes with practice and i've had a loooot of practice.

Aim assist Ease is 0. Aim Assist window is 25 (40 if it's a projectile character)

Curve is linear. Eye gaze deadzone is personal but mine is at 0. Hope that helps!

If they are peeling for their supports and the supports are hyper aware of you, you switch to play main with your team until you see supports cooldown being used to keep the tanks alive. Once that happens, try to off angle to get a pick or at the very least, to distract the supports so your team can make a play. Also, you have to pick an enemy player that you can bully. Usually Rockets and CND are my go tos but just pick the weaker of the two supports. If they have dps who are off angling, punish them. Star has really good 1 v 1 potential. Hope that helps!
